Karaoke songs that are easy and fun for high school students to sing
Compared to today’s songs, older tracks didn’t pack in as many words.
Because of that, many of them were, on the surface, easier to sing than modern songs.
That doesn’t mean today’s songs are necessarily harder, though.
Since recent songs tend to cram in more words, it’s actually easier to disguise flaws, so depending on the track, some can be quite easy for anyone to sing well.
This time, I’ve picked out songs from that category that I especially recommend for high school students.
We’ll be featuring the latest tracks, so be sure to check it out to the end!

Karaoke Songs Recommended for High School Students That Are Easy to Sing and Fun (51–60)
U.S.A.DA PUMP

The song is by Italian singer Joe Yellow, but the version I’m introducing this time is the cover by DA PUMP that everyone knows, released in June 2018 as their 29th single.
I don’t think the song itself needs much explanation anymore.
Especially in the latter half, there are some very high notes, so if you’re not confident with high tones, it’s better to lower the key when you sing.
The scatting in the intro and the repeated title phrases are edited using DJ-style techniques, so it’s probably impossible to reproduce them live as-is at karaoke—but trying it anyway can be fun (lol).
Let’s all get hyped with the song’s famous choreography, the “Ii ne! Dance”!
I like melancholy skies.Za Koinrokkāzu

The Coinlockers’ debut single, released in June 2019.
It was also used as the theme song for the drama “Where Did My Skirt Go?” starring Arata Furuta.
For a recent girls’ rock band track, the key is relatively low, so hitting high notes shouldn’t be much of an issue; however, the A-melody, which centers on slightly lower phrases, might be challenging for some women who find low notes harder to produce.
Overall, it’s a pop, easy-to-sing song, so feel free to pick it and have fun!
Shout out lovearashi

This is the 47th single by the male idol group Arashi, released in September 2015.
This article introduces recommended songs for people who aren’t confident in singing, and this track’s chorus is very catchy, easy to remember, and easy to sing.
However, the opening A-melody section might be a bit tricky.
If you’re going to sing it at karaoke, it’s probably best to study just the A-melody part well in advance.
As long as you clear that part, the rest is simple, so enjoy singing it with a few friends as if you’re doing a group chorus.
It might not quite capture the right vibe if you sing it solo.
LONGINESS REMIXSugLawd Familiar, CHICO CARLITO, Awich

The classic track “LONGINESS REMIX,” which went viral on TikTok and Instagram, features rapper Awich at the center alongside various skilled rappers.
If you’re a high school student, chances are you’ve heard it at least once.
There’s no doubt it’s a cool song, but surprisingly, the required rapping skill isn’t that high.
There are verses close to fastest-rap style, but if you have some cypher experience, the lines are manageable for anyone to perform.

THANXWANIMA

A heartwarming masterpiece by WANIMA, a band that has become a national favorite—performing at the Kouhaku Uta Gassen and in high demand at festivals across the country.
This song has been a cherished part of their live shows since before WANIMA’s big breakthrough.
Its perfectly balanced blend of straightforward, slightly bittersweet lyrics and an irresistibly bright melody makes it a classic.
It’s the perfect song to sing at karaoke when you want to say thank you to a friend.
A Lump of LoveKinKi Kids

With lyrics by Tsuyoshi Domoto and composition by Koichi Domoto, this KinKi Kids classic is highly regarded not only among fans but also by their Johnny’s juniors.
Its harmonies are beautiful, making it a very fun song to duet.
The key is comfortable for both men and women, and its catchy melody is especially appealing.
SignalWANIMA

A track from Japanese rock band WANIMA’s major-label debut album, released in January 2018.
The song is sung in a seemingly vein-popping high register from start to finish, so if you try to sing it as-is at karaoke, there will probably be frequent spectacular wipeouts (lol).
Musically, the melody itself isn’t that hard to sing, so as long as you’re careful with the key setting, even those who aren’t confident singers shouldn’t struggle too much.
Focus on maintaining a sense of speed from beginning to end and power through the whole song!
