Yanawaraba is a duo formed by two childhood friends from Okinawa.
Although they disbanded in 2019, they were a beloved female unit known for their gentle atmosphere and vocals.

Lil’B was formed in 2007.
It started as a duo with vocalist MIE and rapper AILA, but after AILA left, it has been a solo act since 2011.
The unit’s name is a blend of words, carrying the meaning: “Let’s cast off ‘little betrayals’—mischief—and bring surprises to the world!” Their series of love songs themed around “you,” the Kimi-uta Trilogy, became a huge hit as ringtone downloads and sparked buzz mainly among junior high and high school girls.

“Tooi Tokoro e Iku no Deshou” is their second single, released in 2019 as a double A-side with “Love Story wa Hajimaranai.” It’s a song with a message that prompts reflection on the human condition in our rapidly advancing modern era.
The gently resonant ballad is beautiful.

Marie is a female folk duo consisting of Akemi Furuta and Keiko Yoshikawa.

The Back-Finger-Pointed Groupushiroyubi-sasaregumi

Ushiroyubi Sasaregumi was formed by Mamiko Takai and Yukiko Iwai, members of Onyanko Club, an idol group that was hugely popular in the late ’80s.
Their debut single, which shares the same name as the group, “Ushiroyubi Sasaregumi,” was released in 1985 and used as the opening theme for the anime High School! Kimengumi.
The song expresses the feelings of a girl who falls for a boy who isn’t well-regarded at school.
Even if everyone speaks ill of him, she alone continues to love him—conveying the unstoppable passion of a heart in love.
It’s a duet sung together by the two members throughout, making it a great choice for friends to sing at karaoke, even if they’re not very confident singers!
