NEW CHAPTERSHURIKEN

SHURIKEN is a rock band formed in 2002.

They made their major debut in 2003.

Their debut single “Society” raised the band’s profile, and they gained popularity with signature tracks like “NEW CHAPTER.” Known for powerful vocals and a heavy band sound, they were also highly regarded for their live performances.

Although they disbanded on November 4, 2007, their music continues to be loved by many fans.

Sheena & The Rokkets is a Japanese rock ’n’ roll band formed after moving from Fukuoka to Tokyo in 1978.

Sheena’s shouts ignite Makoto Ayukawa’s guitar.

They released their debut single Tears on the Highway, and in 1979 put out their second album Vacuum Pack.

The single You May Dream from that album was used in a Japan Airlines commercial, which sparked their breakthrough.

Influenced by foreign rock, they are known for performing both original songs and covers of great artists.

Sheena’s distinctive vocal phrasing and performance are key elements that breathe life into Ayukawa’s guitar playing.

Led by Hiroto Kōmoto, who spearheaded THE BLUE HEARTS, and Masatoshi Mashima, who also worked on THE HIGH-LOWS, their rock ’n’ roll—delivered by some of Japan’s foremost rock stars—is a must-listen even for those who aren’t rock fans.

Alongside simple, straightforward expression, their music overflows with masculine power.

At their core is a gently affirming message that makes you feel “there’s nothing in this world that’s truly no good,” making them a wonderful rock band.

Teikoku Kissa is an Osaka-based rock band formed by members of Kansai University’s light music club.

As of 2023, the lineup consists of frontman Yuki Sugiura, bassist Yo Hikida, drummer Takuto Sugizaki, and guitarist Akuri.
