RikaSIX LOUNGE

SIX LOUNGE is a Japanese rock ’n’ roll band formed in 2012 in Oita Prefecture.
In 2015, Riku Iwao joined, establishing the current three-member lineup.
They debuted on an indie label and later moved to a major.
While inheriting an old-school rock flavor, they’re known for performances that are simple yet profound and powerful.
Their live shows are praised for a soul-stirring groove.
The band name was taken from a Rolling Stones album that Yamaguchi listened to frequently in high school.

Purple Highwayku-ru-su

Cools, a rock band that started out as a motorcycle team in 1975, made their debut with Purple Highway and captivated fans with the album Black Rock ’n’ Roll.
They produced celebrities such as Hiroshi Tachi, Koichi Iwaki, and Haruyuki Mizuguchi, and became an influence on artists like BUCK-TICK and Fumiya Fujii.
Despite their tough look—pompadours, black leather jackets, and jeans—their true appeal lies in their wide-ranging musicality.
Perhaps a remnant of their biker roots, many early fans were bosozoku.
Even now, more than 40 years on, Cools continue to work steadily.

LADY NEDYSHERBETS

This is a band formed around Kenichi Asai, formerly of BLANKEY JET CITY.
They launched in 1996, and their appeal lies in a sharp yet dreamlike sound that absorbs alternative and psychedelic elements.
Their 1999 release, SIBERIA, has long been cherished as a work that distills their cold, uncompromising aesthetic.
They went on a hiatus called “hibernation” in 2002, but returned in 2005.
Since then, they have continued activity intermittently, pursuing a sound that only these four members can create.
Nothing but bad thingsHashirikomīzu

Hashirikomizu began as Ataru’s solo project, then took its current form when childhood friends Aoi and Sawa joined.
The band is known for a sound rooted in the primal energy of garage and punk while weaving in alternative elements.
Since releasing their first album in 2020, they’ve been putting out new work energetically, and their album “Friends Orchestra,” slated for release in November 2025, is already generating buzz.
Their lyrics—condensed nihilism and humor, illuminated by Ataru’s sharp observational eye—are truly one of a kind.

New WorldYoru no Sutorenjāzu

Formed in 1998, Yoru no Strangers have carved out a unique place in Japan’s rock scene.

They have released numerous acclaimed albums, including 2007’s “SOUL ON FIRE” and 2013’s “BACK TO THE ROCK’n’ROLL WORLD.” Their passionate vocals and guitar, combined with dynamic drumming, create a fiery sound that continues to captivate fans, especially through the sense of unity at their live shows.

Chaotic Princesskamaitachi

One of the original visual kei bands that brought a fresh breeze to Japan’s rock scene.
Kamaitachi formed in Kyoto in 1985 and debuted in 1989 with the album “Itachigokko,” making their major-label debut the following year.
With a “chaotically crazy” approach, they captivated audiences through intense performances and distinctive fashion.
Although they disbanded in 1991, they reunited in 2015.
At their shows, they faithfully revisit classic tracks, delighting fans.
Kamaitachi’s music and performances influenced many visual kei bands and left a significant mark on Japan’s rock scene.

Get Up, LucyTHEE MICHELLE GUN ELEPHANT

Formed in 1991, the four-piece rock band THEE MICHELLE GUN ELEPHANT made their major-label debut in 1996 with a distinctive sound that fused garage, blues, punk, and more.
Known for their energetic live performances—often hitting more than 40 stops on a single tour—they also appeared at major festivals like Fuji Rock.
Yusuke Chiba’s distinctive vocals and the raw sound crafted by the entire band influenced countless fans and musicians.
Until their breakup in 2003, they were a leading presence in Japan’s rock scene.
