uraomote (meaning ‘two-faced’ or ‘having a public and a private side’)Hey! Say! JUMP
Hey! Say! JUMP is a boys’ idol group that debuted in 2007 with “Ultra Music Power.” Their song “Uraomote” is a dance-pop track that served as the theme song for the Fuji TV serial drama “My Dearest Self with Malice Aforethought,” which began airing in 2022 and stars Ryosuke Yamada.
Just before the chorus, there’s a moment where the entire track goes quiet and the sound of a ticking second hand rings out, then it plunges straight into an irresistibly catchy hook.
In the chorus, the melody features distinctive chromatic lines that become increasingly addictive as you listen!

Tegomass is a sub-unit within the group NEWS.
“Miso Soup” is Tegomass’s debut single by Tegoshi and Masuda.
They held their debut event for this song in Sweden.

Moonlight walkerA.B.C-Z
“Moonlight Walker” is a single by A.B.C-Z.
Although they had released albums and DVDs before, this is their first single.
Lyrics by Goro Matsui, music by Koji Makaino, arrangement by Hajime Funayama.
The song portrays a relationship in which a man is captivated by a woman with a slightly mysterious, suspicious allure—an unusual theme for an idol track.

King & Queen & JokerSexy Zone
Many of you were likely captivated by Kento Nakajima playing the “King,” Shori Sato the “Queen,” and Fuma Kikuchi the “Joker.” Released in May 2014 as Sexy Zone’s sixth single, the song uses the world of playing cards as a motif to portray the push and pull of a fated romance.

Doki itnaniwa danshi
This is a powerful rock tune by Naniwa Danshi that brightly cheers on young people starting a new chapter in life.

DAYBREAKotoko
Daybreak, the debut single by Otokogumi, was released in 1988.
Unusually for Johnny’s at the time, they were a band-style group.
They effectively disbanded in 1993, and among the members, the only one who remains with Johnny’s today is Kenichi Okamoto, the vocalist and rhythm guitarist.
It’s a cool rock number that makes full use of their band-driven sound.
