cloud

Let me share an idea for making a cloud using a single sheet of origami paper.
Fold the paper in half by bringing the top and bottom edges together, then open it.
Fold the top-right and bottom-left corners in to meet the center crease.
Next, fold the top edge down to meet the bottom edge.
Fold the lower-right part of the top layer up toward the upper left diagonally, then flip the paper over and tuck the corners to the back to adjust the shape—your cloud is complete.
If you make not only the cloud but also an umbrella and raindrops and glue them onto construction paper, it could turn into a lovely artwork.
If you like, give it a try!
Donald Duck

Let’s make a cute character! Here are some ideas for Donald Duck.
When you think of Donald Duck, his soft, round backside and energetic personality make him one of the most popular Disney characters.
June 9 is both the anniversary of Donald Duck’s screen debut and his birthday.
This time, let’s try making a cute Donald Duck out of origami.
You’ll need one sheet of white origami paper, glue, a pen, and a drawing of his hat.
Give it a try!
polo shirt

Let’s make some refreshing summer clothing! Here are some polo shirt ideas.
Many of you might be wondering what motif to work on for Father’s Day.
In times like that, we recommend a polo shirt made from origami.
All you need is a single sheet of origami paper.
Use your favorite colors or patterns to create your own original polo shirt.
It could be fun to decorate it with stickers or pens, too.
Be sure to include it as a Father’s Day gift!
tooth

Unique craft! Here’s a tooth-themed idea.
June 4th to 10th is known as Dental and Oral Health Week.
In honor of the week, let’s make teeth out of origami! You’ll need white origami paper, round stickers, pens, and so on.
It’s fun that you can depict different conditions—like healthy teeth or cavities—depending on the illustrations you draw.
It’s a quirky idea that will make you want to line them up against a wide-open mouth background.
It could also spark children’s interest in brushing and dental health.
toothbrush

Something to make during Dental Health Week! Here are some toothbrush craft ideas.
In June, there’s a Dental and Oral Health Week from the 4th to the 10th.
Some of you may be planning toothbrushing lessons or events at your preschools or at home.
This time, let’s make a toothbrush—essential for maintaining dental and oral health—using origami.
All you need is one sheet of origami paper in your favorite color or pattern.
Even with the same method, you can adjust the thickness of the handle and the head to your liking, so each toothbrush can show a bit of personality.
yellow rose

Something to make for Father’s Day! Here are some ideas for yellow roses.
Yellow roses, also known as a classic Father’s Day gift, are said to originate from yellow ribbons, which symbolize wishing safety for loved ones.
This time, let’s make a yellow rose out of origami and give it as a gift.
All you need is one sheet of yellow origami paper.
Some steps are a bit complicated, so it’s best to work together with a parent or teacher.
It’s also lovely to add stems and arrange them into a bouquet!

snow pea

Here’s an easy origami vegetable: snow peas.
All you need is two colors of origami paper—light green and dark green—and some glue.
First, take the light green paper, fold it in half twice, then unfold to check the creases.
Fold all four corners toward the center, then fold only the top and bottom edges toward the center once more, and fold it in half.
For the dark green paper, fold it in half twice, then use the creases to make diagonal folds to create the stem.
Combine the two pieces and glue them together to finish.
It’s quick and easy to make, so give it a try!
