If I could become a constellationkessoku bando

Kessoku Band’s most famous song, “If We Could Become a Constellation.” The melody isn’t difficult and the rhythm is calm, so many of my vocal training students chose to sing it.

Actually, JOYSOUND staff are doing something called the “95-Point Challenge” with this song, so with practice you might be able to boost your score quite a bit! The overall vocal range is G3–C#5.

The chorus hits C5 repeatedly, so some people might feel it’s “high,” but the melody has momentum, so if you focus on accents, you’ll be fine! First, listen carefully to identify which parts are the high notes.

Take the spots where you think, “Maybe here?” and turn them into accents by riding the rhythm with some drive.

The key point is to project your voice forward! Start with sectional practice so you can produce sound comfortably, and do your best!

HANA, who took flight from the audition produced by SKY-HI and Chanmina, debuts with a cool, stylish track that sings about the strength to bloom as yourself in any environment.

They may look sweet on the outside, but inside they harbor a passion that no one can beat.

That powerful image is expressed through the metaphor of the thorns on a beautiful rose.

Released in April 2025, the song also drew attention as the theme for Otsuka Pharmaceutical’s “BODYMAINTE” commercial, which portrays the members’ struggles.

When you’re tempted to lose confidence by comparing yourself to others, listen to it—and you’ll surely feel, “I’m okay too,” and look forward.

HabitSEKAI NO OWARI

A song with a mysterious, addictive melody that you just can’t get out of your head.

The unique dance showcased in the music video also became a huge talking point! This piece sharply addresses people’s tendency to categorize and delivers a strong message: “Don’t categorize yourself.” Those words feel as if they see right through your heart, making you catch your breath.

The song was released as a single in June 2022 and served as the theme for the film ‘HOLiC xxxHOLiC.’ It also won the 64th Japan Record Award that same year, truly making it a song that represents its time.
