Go your wayRyokushokushakai

Are you feeling down, thinking “Maybe I don’t have any talent” just because you failed once? Ryokuoushoku Shakai’s “Michi wo Yuke” is a powerful anthem that reminds us of something we often forget in the face of anxiety and failure: it’s perfectly normal for new challenges not to go smoothly.
Everyone starts as a beginner, and it’s rare to succeed right from the start.
Even geniuses put in a lot of unseen effort.
When you feel like your spirit is about to break, listen to this song and you’ll surely regain a positive mindset—“Beyond this experience, a new me is waiting!”

JourneyFuji Kaze

A gem of a ballad by Fujii Kaze, memorable for its heartwarming kindness and melody filled with hope.
With a gentle gaze, it reflects on growth and learning throughout the long journey of life, the meetings and partings with loved ones, and tenderly embraces the figure of someone who, though sometimes troubled and uncertain, keeps moving toward the future.
Released digitally in March 2021 and written as the theme song for TV Asahi’s Thursday drama “Nijiiro Karte,” this piece is also included on the album “LOVE ALL SERVE ALL.” It’s a song I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone starting a new chapter, anticipating new encounters with both excitement and anxiety, or standing at a crossroads in life.
Fujii Kaze’s soulful voice and the warm resonance of the Wurlitzer will gently give you a push forward.
Best FriendNishino Kana

A song whose straightforward lyrics, in which Kana Nishino shares her feelings for her friend, truly resonate with the heart! “Because you were there for me, I was able to enjoy every day,” “No matter how many times I say thank you, it won’t be enough—I’m so grateful.” Even if you feel this way about a friend, it can be a bit embarrassing to say it directly.
However, by sharing your feelings, you create a comforting sense that there will always be someone who supports you in your hearts, even as you each begin to walk your own paths.
Let’s honestly express our gratitude and say “I love you,” and, with memories of your precious person in your heart, step forward onto a new stage!
Before the departureWANIMA

Many people might have the impression that WANIMA’s songs are hard to sing at karaoke because they have high vocal ranges and lots of big interval jumps.
However, “Tabidachi no Mae ni” has relatively fewer pitch changes compared to their other tracks, making it easier to sing.
The lyrics are a motivational message to new members of the workforce.
They’re filled with words that resonate with newcomers who feel overwhelmed by having to fulfill their roles as adults in a new environment every day.
If you have a chance to go to karaoke with a new working professional, why not sing this song for them?
Sakura, You, and Ituki.

As the spring breeze begins to blow, this song evokes new encounters and life’s turning points.
Released in January 2024, the work by 15-year-old singer-songwriter tuki.
overlays the bittersweet feelings of graduation and farewell with images of cherry blossoms.
The gentle sound of the acoustic guitar and the clear, transparent vocals offer comfort to listeners.
tuki.’s delicate voice will gently encourage those taking a new step forward with the arrival of spring.
In April, when anticipation and anxiety about a new life mingle, singing it at karaoke is sure to resonate with someone’s heart.
Spring Dayaimyon

This is a song by the singer-songwriter Aimyon.
It was written specifically as the theme song for the film “Crayon Shin-chan: Honeymoon Hurricane — The Lost Hiroshi.” The lyrics are said to be written from the perspective of Hiroshi, Shinnosuke Nohara’s father.
The powerful vocals paired with its message squeeze your heart tight.
Try singing it while thinking of someone special.
Goodbye Busyuzu

A classic that gently depicts springtime farewells and reunions.
Yuzu’s “Sayonara Bus” was released in March 1999 and included on the album Yuzuen.
Its lyrics are striking, overlaying the feelings of two people who can’t be honest with each other before parting with the scene of a bus pulling away.
The warm, Yuzu-like choice of words is also appealing—such as the coined term asamoyake (“morning haze-burn”).
It’s a song we hope those who feel anxious before starting a new chapter or who have experienced parting with someone dear will listen to.
Give it a listen, and you’ll surely find the courage to take a new step forward.
