Make it with felt and a hot glue gun! Here’s a cute flower corsage perfect for preschool graduates.

First, make the flower.

Prepare two colors of felt and cut them in half.

Fold each piece in half and glue the open edge with a hot glue gun.

On the side without glue, make cuts about 1 cm wide.

Glue the two colors together, then apply glue and roll them up to form the flower.

Next, make the clip part.

Attach double-sided tape to a ribbon and wrap it around the clip.

Finally, hot glue a circle of felt and the clip to the back of the flower, and you’re done!

Ribbon corsage made from fabric scraps

Make it with fabric scraps! Here’s a corsage full of cute ribbons.

First, fold the left, right, top, and bottom edges of the scrap toward the center.

Gather pleats in the middle to form a ribbon shape.

Wrap your favorite color of embroidery thread around it about three times, tie it tightly in the center, and trim any excess thread.

Neaten the shape, and the ribbon is done.

Make more in the same way using various fabrics.

Adjust the number of pieces according to the size of the corsage you want to create.

Next, cut cardboard (or similar) to match the finished corsage image, and use a glue gun to adhere fabric to it.

Cover the back with fabric as well.

Wrap fabric around the pin, and finally attach the pin and the corsage with the glue gun to finish!

Make it with origami! Here’s a cute corsage idea.

Lightly fold a sheet of origami paper in half and cut out a vase shape.

From the back, attach transparent origami paper with double-sided tape.

Apply glue around the edges, stick it onto cardstock, then cut it out in a circle.

You’ll get a glossy, shiny vase.

Shift it slightly to the right and punch a hole at the top of the vase.

Thread artificial flowers through the hole to match the children’s ideas.

Tape the back with vinyl tape, attach a safety pin, and then add another layer of tape over it.

Write a message on the vase part, and it’s done! It’s also cute to put your child’s favorite stickers or drawings inside the vase, so I recommend it.

Crocheted corsages have a warm feel and are perfect for graduation ceremonies in the colder season.

Layering the petals adds depth and makes them more glamorous.

As you make them while imagining each child’s favorite color, the many memories you shared may come flooding back, and some teachers might even find themselves tearing up.

Picture the children proudly walking with the fluffy, adorable corsages—filled with the teacher’s affection—pinned to their chests, and put your heart into making them.

[Tsumami Zaiku] Sakura Corsage

[Tsumami Zaiku] Sakura Corsage

This is a corsage made using tsumami zaiku, where you fold pieces of fabric with tweezers and assemble them together.

During kindergarten graduation season, cherry blossom-themed designs are the standard.

You make the cherry blossom petals with pink fabric and the leaves with green fabric, then layer and glue them to form the shape of a sakura.

Choosing fabric that matches the cherry blossom image is also important; chirimen is recommended for its traditional Japanese feel and softness.

Although it requires delicate, detailed work, the corsage’s glamorous appearance is charming and can lift your spirits just by wearing it.

Prepare artificial flowers, wire-edge ribbon, a corsage base, felt, a chalk marker, and a hot glue gun.

First, trace the felt that will become the backing with the chalk marker, cut it to match the base, and glue it onto the base with the hot glue gun.

Trim the artificial flowers so they fit the base.

If there’s any wire, remove it.

Next, make the ribbon.

Create two loops about 20 cm long, glue the ends with the hot glue gun, and shape them.

Once the parts are ready, assemble the corsage with the hot glue gun.

Finally, attach the base with the hot glue gun, and you’re done!
