Co-starring with a special guest

If you want to make the graduation ceremony truly unforgettable, inviting special guests is a wonderful idea! Think about guests that suit the occasion—musicians who play instruments or sing well, characters kids love, or popular children’s performers.
Practice songs and dances together with the guests, and perform them at the ceremony—there’s no doubt it will become a cherished memory for the children!
Graduation Ceremony We Create Ourselves

As a surprise for the graduation ceremony, here’s an introduction to an idea where the graduating children design the ceremony themselves.
I think many preschools have a set format that they follow every year.
However, with this idea, the graduating children think about what they want their parents to see and hear, and they work together with the teachers to carry it out—it’s a wonderful approach.
Some families may have multiple children attending the same preschool, but since the graduating children decide the content of the ceremony each year, no two ceremonies are ever the same, which is really special.
It may be a lot of work for the teachers every year, but since it’s a once-in-a-lifetime event, we’d love to plan and run it together with the children.
Graduation Ceremony Flash Mob

It’s a flash mob dance performed by the graduating children’s parents.
You can’t help but wonder, when and where did they practice? With such a large group, this surprise must have been an unforgettable event for both the audience and the dancers.
As graduation approaches, it likely strengthened the bonds among the parents as well.
Message video from kindergarten graduates

It’s common to play a memory video, but how about taking it a step further and creating a movie that includes messages from the graduates? Have the children put their feelings—like gratitude toward their moms and dads and what’s on their minds—into messages, and pair them with lots of memorable photos.
The children’s growth and the fact that they’re graduating is moving enough on its own, but adding messages from the kids themselves makes it a surprise that will leave everyone amazed and in tears of joy.

pop-up message card

A “pop-up message card” is made by attaching paper arranged to pop out three-dimensionally on a message card.
If you make flowers or memorable motifs pop out, it becomes a striking card.
Think about which motifs the children became familiar with through their time at the preschool.
Compared to a flat card, the impact when it’s opened is greater, making for a more moving result.
end credits

As a grand finale for the kindergarten graduation party, how about playing an end credits reel? It’s a popular feature at weddings too, and makes for a moving surprise.
Choose a slow-tempo song that’s different from the slideshow, and project various expressions of the graduating children onto the screen.
Including photos from the graduation ceremony will make it even more touching.
It’s also a great idea to insert messages to the children between the photos.
While letting everyone savor the lingering afterglow of graduation, deliver a heartfelt moment that inspires them to spread their wings into a new future.
Heart Drops
@sakino_beauty Instead of a colored paper board (shikishi), we used and adapted MUJI’s acrylic frame for graduation! Please use it as a reference ✌︎♡Handmade#HeartDropsGraduationRecommended to ride#Colored Paper Design

Let me show you how to make a heart drop that’s a joy to receive.
Heart drops are a popular idea for weddings, but you can also use them to write messages for teachers who’ve helped you! To make one, attach cut pieces of wood to a clear board and secure them with screws at the four corners.
By mounting the wood inside the clear board, you create a gap where people can write short messages on heart-shaped wooden chips and drop them in.
Since you’ll need an opening to insert the messages, be sure to leave a cutout around the center at the top.
You can also have fun coloring it in your favorite shades and customizing the design!
