Guess the Baby Quiz

Guess the Baby Quiz

Everyone is curious about what the children looked like when they were born, right? At the thank-you party, let’s liven things up with a “Guess the Baby” quiz to match which baby photo belongs to which child.

The quiz video should include each child’s baby photo alongside a current photo.

You can easily make the quiz video with iMovie or Windows Movie Maker, so it’s a good idea for parents to create and prepare it.

You can also set the finished quiz video to Unlisted on YouTube to enjoy it for a long time.

Children’s choir

A choral performance by the graduating children is a wonderful gift that truly touches the teachers’ hearts.

Especially at daycare centers, where teachers may have watched the children since infancy, seeing them grow and move on to elementary school can be deeply moving.

It’s also a great idea for parents to sing to the teachers who have supported their children’s growth over the years.

Discuss with the children what song would be best, and practice together so that it becomes a lifelong memory for both the children and the teachers.

Same-day edit graduation movie

As the graduation ceremony approaches, many parents will look back on the nursery school days filled with memories and be moved to tears.

Why not create a same-day graduation movie that conveys those emotions in a real and immediate way? “Same-day” means filming and then broadcasting or streaming without editing.

It’s also recommended to prepare in advance by adding interviews with the teachers who have cared for the children and introductions of the graduates.

Many parents probably felt nervous on the day of the ceremony.

Being able to watch the ceremony again in a movie and savor the afterglow is wonderful.

It might also turn the thank-you party into an even more memorable scene.

The park’s true-or-false quiz

You probably have many memories of the preschools and kindergartens the children attended.

How about making a true-or-false quiz about the school? Turning topics like the teachers’ favorite foods or the dance performed at the sports day into quiz questions could work well.

The children might come up with lots of answers.

Although this may be the last time you think and answer together at the thank-you party, a quiz would be a nice way to look back on the school.

It’s an activity where the teachers can also feel the children’s growth through their lively comments.

Name-guessing game

Thank-You Party Name-Matching Game
Name-guessing game

Kids grow up so fast, don’t they? Babies in particular develop quickly—it’s said that it’s the period of fastest physical growth in a lifetime.

So, let’s play a game using photos from when the graduating children were babies.

The rules are simple: look at a baby photo and guess which graduate it is.

Through the game, you can feel how much they’ve grown—recognizing lingering features or reminiscing about their baby days.

Seeing how big the children have become will surely warm your heart.

If you’re unsure what activity to plan, please use this as inspiration.

Hug everyone

Hug everyone

At the thank-you party for your nursery or kindergarten, how about sharing a hug with the teachers who took such good care of the children to reaffirm your bond? It will surely become an unforgettable memory for both the children and the teachers.

Also, by engaging in a bit of physical closeness, you can ease the tension around graduation and help the children relax.

Saying goodbye to the teachers may feel very sad, but by giving a warm hug and reaffirming your connection, you might find it easier to move on to the next step.

Not only the children and teachers, but parents as well are sure to be deeply moved!

projection mapping

Nursery school thank-you party entertainment (a PowerPoint-based, pseudo projection mapping-style presentation)
projection mapping

Projection mapping projects images onto uneven surfaces like walls and buildings, rather than onto the dedicated screens used in movie theaters.

Some children may have seen projection mapping at theme parks or events.

While a special projector is usually required to display the images, in this activity we prepare a box with white drawing paper where the images will appear, and create the visuals using PowerPoint.

You can enjoy visuals that feel like real projection mapping.

Although some steps in the creation process are a bit complex, it enables you to produce a wonderful visual world, so we recommend that a parent or guardian who is knowledgeable about computers take the lead.

It’s the kind of presentation that will move teachers and children alike with the effort and skill put into it by the adults.
