A great trick for people who usually wear caps is a magic trick where a coin placed in a hat disappears.
All you need for this trick is a 500-yen coin and a cap.
First, turn the cap upside down and put the 500-yen coin inside.
Then turn the cap over again and make it look like you’ve transferred the coin into your palm.
In reality, you hide the coin in the space along the cap’s brim and don’t move it to your hand.
Finally, when you show your palm, it looks as if the 500-yen coin has vanished.
a water bottle that doesn’t spill
A mysterious magic trick where even if you turn a water-filled plastic bottle upside down, nothing spills! It’s just like magic! Of course, there’s a secret to it.
When the plastic bottle is placed on the palm, a round piece cut from a clear file is attached to act as a lid.
It looks like there’s nothing there when the toothpick goes in, but there’s actually a hole in the center of the clear file for the toothpick to pass through.
While the audience is focused on the toothpick, if you give the bottle a light shake, the lid will fall along with the water, so it’s likely to go unnoticed!
