The water got discolored.
This magic trick, where you shake an ordinary plastic bottle with clear water and it changes into various colors, is popular even in nursery schools and kindergartens.
The secret lies in the cap: it actually has paint of the same color as the cap applied inside.
When you shake the bottle, the paint dissolves into the water and colors it.
Since you can’t tell just by a quick glance, be sure to say “There’s no trick,” and show the inside of the cap as well.
It makes the mystery of the magic stand out even more.
Magic where the coin disappears
A coin that should be tightly held in your hand vanishes with just a breath, only to reappear from a completely unexpected place—that’s the magic.
The technique used here is called the classic palm.
Classic palm means holding an object in the palm of your hand.
This lets you keep your fingers free, so it looks like you’re holding nothing.
Once you master the classic palm, you can perform this trick very easily!
Magic Sketchbook
It’s the magic of a sketchbook where colors appear and disappear with just a little spell! Now, let me reveal the secret.
Inside this sketchbook, pages with color and pages without color are inserted alternately.
Depending on whether you hold the top or the bottom edge when flipping, different pages will open.

A magical newspaper where water disappears and reappears
Here’s a magic trick where the liquid you supposedly poured into a newspaper disappears and somehow ends up back in a paper cup.
Watching it, it really looks like the liquid vanished into the newspaper, but in fact, you’re holding a paper cup behind the newspaper from the start and pouring into that.
When you pretend to show that the liquid has disappeared into the newspaper, you secretly stack two paper cups behind the newspaper and place them on the table—at that point, 90% of the trick is done.
After that, you just cast a spell on the newspaper and pretend to pour water into the paper cup that the audience thinks is empty!
Easy magic that pops out of the box
It’s a magic trick where a cake suddenly appears from a box that’s supposed to be empty! It’s a great bit of entertainment for birthday parties or Christmas parties at kindergartens and preschools.
In fact, the contents have been in the box the whole time, but the performer uses a magnet attached to their finger to reveal or hide what’s inside.
If someone peeks inside, the secret will be exposed, but it’s pretty hard to notice the magnet gimmick! If the kids are around the oldest class, it might be fun to teach them the secret and enjoy it together.
I will guess your favorite number.
This is a simple magic trick using nine slips of paper.
On one slip, you ask someone to write their favorite number, and on the others, they write random numbers.
After mixing them and spreading them out on the table, you identify the favorite number they wrote.
The method is very simple, but it’s a trick that surprises and delights children.
Pop-out straw
When you quickly open your clenched hand, colorful straws burst out with a pop.
This fun trick is like a jack-in-the-box.
What’s the secret behind it? All you need are straws and scissors.
The springing action relies entirely on the properties of the straws.
Here are the steps: First, cut off the bendy, accordion section of the straw—you won’t need it.
Next, insert the scissors lengthwise into the straw and slit it open from the middle.
Take the opened straw and roll it up horizontally.
Be careful not to cut your finger on the straw’s cut edge.
Once you’ve finished rolling, keep the rolled straw hidden in your hand.
When you quickly open your hand, the straw will spring out energetically! Using a variety of colored straws can make it look especially pretty.
