Teleporting rubber band

A magic trick so easy that even kids can do it! Believe it or not, the rubber band seems to teleport! The secret is that there’s an invisible thread attached to the rubber band, and you just hold the band while the thread is stretched.

Naturally, when you let go, the thread tries to return to its original state, making it look like the rubber band moves on its own.

It’s a very simple gimmick and doesn’t require any practice.

Adults will probably figure it out right away, but to kids it’ll look truly mysterious.

It’s also fun to reveal the trick and have everyone try it together!

Hole-expanding magic

A tiny hole in a piece of paper magically becomes big! Right before the kids’ eyes, a 500-yen coin slides straight through.

The secret is simply how you fold the paper and a little trick.

Imagine their amazed faces and give it a try.

It’s easy, yet really surprising.

They’ll surely say, “Show me again!” It’s a wonderful trick you can enjoy as a family, and it sparks children’s imagination too.

A five-yen coin defying gravity

This is a magic trick where a five-yen coin threaded onto a rubber band rises upward against gravity.

The secret is simple: it uses the friction and elasticity of the rubber band.

You stretch the rubber band while leaving some slack, hook the five-yen coin on it, and then gradually release the band.

As you slowly let it slip, the coin appears to climb upward against gravity.

It’s easy to do, so give it a try!

Magic you can perform with three playing cards

A simple magic trick with three playing cards [Part 2] Kids can do it too! With explanation revealing the secret
Magic you can perform with three playing cards

It’s a magic trick where you lay out the Ace of Hearts and two Kings on the table and ask the spectator to track where the Ace of Hearts is, but the Ace ends up in a different spot than they think.

The key lies in the card positions and the way you turn them over.

Using a pinky break technique, you make the spectator believe the Ace of Hearts is in a different place within the packet.

You also arrange the cards on the table so the faces can’t be seen, and because the order of the packet isn’t what they think it is, they’ll also imagine the table layout incorrectly.

There are unique moves, like turning over two cards as one, so it’s crucial to make your actions smooth to avoid creating any sense of inconsistency.

The disappearing chopsticks envelope magic trick

[Revealed] A magical-looking envelope trick with a simple gimmick (for nursery schools and kindergartens)
The disappearing chopsticks envelope magic trick

It’s a magic trick where you put a pair of disposable chopsticks into an envelope, give a signal, and the chopsticks seem to vanish so the envelope can be crushed flat.

If the contents were something soft, it would just look like you were crushing them along with the envelope, but because it’s something rigid like chopsticks, it conveys the idea that they’ve actually disappeared.

In reality, what looked like chopsticks is just a paper tube with chopstick-like wrinkles, made of soft paper, so the whole envelope can be easily crushed.

Since a close look would reveal the fake, it’s important to handle everything smoothly up to the moment you put it into the envelope.

In conclusion

I’ve gathered lots of simple yet impressive magic tricks that are sure to make kids go “Wow!”—did any of them make you want to give them a try? They’re all easy, and if the kids want to try them too, there are plenty you can do together.

That’s part of the fun, isn’t it?
