Haohao, well-known from “Okaasan to Issho,” might make those unfamiliar with the song wonder what it is.

Haohao is a little ghost that appears saying “Hao” and ends up living in your pocket.

The song has a very whimsical, cute worldview that sparks children’s imaginations—what if there were a Hao in my pocket? You play and laugh together, enjoy Hao’s favorite biscuits, and have a wonderful time, but in the end, Hao disappears.

The whole song makes you feel as if you’ve watched a short story unfold.

With lyrics that compare life to a jigsaw puzzle, this song gently encourages children, embracing each child’s unique place in the world.

This is the song “Maru Maru Mori Mori!” which was chosen as the opening theme for the Fuji TV drama ‘Marumo no Okite Special 2014.’ The sight of Mana Ashida and Fuku Suzuki singing Marumori together with the dog Mook was truly heartwarming.
