Kincho Mukade Muender: “For centipede problems everywhere” edition

This commercial makes a strong impression, featuring a middle-aged man whose face is embedded in the exterior wall of a house as he talks about complaints regarding our home.

The man complains about centipedes appearing in the house, after which the narration introduces “MUKADE MUENDER.” It’s highly impactful overall, and the product’s effectiveness is conveyed in a simple and easy-to-understand way.

KINCHO Mushi-Konaazu “Undefended” VersionMasami Nagasawa, Taiga Nakano

Masami Nagasawa & Taiga Nakano: Mushikonazu “Defenseless” Version

This commercial warns that even highly effective Mushikonaz (insect repellent) won’t work if it’s past its expiration date.

Masami Nagasawa appears before Taiga Nakano and asks whether the Mushikonaz hanging in his window has expired.

She then explains, in Kansai dialect, just how defenseless it is to have an expired Mushikonaz hanging in the window.

Many viewers probably couldn’t help but laugh at Nagasawa’s energetic delivery.

Kincho KincholHideji Otaki, Kazunori Kishi

KINCHO commercial (boring)

This is a commercial in which Shūji Ōtaki and Ittoku Kishibe appear as a father and son, with Kishibe explaining the features of Kinchōl to Ōtaki.

As Kishibe talks about how the switch to a water-based formula makes it more environmentally friendly, Ōtaki cuts him off, shouting, “Boring! Your story is boring!”—a moment that left a huge impact.

It was such a memorable line that it was even featured on impressionist shows at the time.

Kinchō Clean Flow Deodorizing Spray That Eliminates Toilet Odors: “Koi (Love)” EditionKyle Card

KINCHO CLEANFLOW Cleanflow Toilet Odor-Eliminating Deodorant Spray TV Commercial “Love” Version 15 Seconds

This is a commercial featuring actor Kyle Card introducing a deodorizing spray that eliminates toilet odors.

It’s memorable how he suavely remarks that getting rid of toilet smells is like love: pressing the spray over and over is nonsense—one push is enough.

According to KINCHO’s official website, Kyle, who is from Canada, was directed to perform with the flair of an Italian ladies’ man for the ad.

KINCHO Sassa Sassa Panda: “Screen/Floor” Version / “Shelf/Lamp” Version / “Schoolbag/Rolling Panda” Version

This is a commercial for the cleaning wipes “Sassa,” featuring an original character called Sassa Panda.

In each ad, Sassa Panda is shown blowing on something, giving it the fun feel of a segment from a children’s show.

Combined with the oddly catchy background music, it’s a commercial you’ll want to watch over and over.

Mold-Prevention Bathroom Muwender: “The One That Makes You Feel You Did Something” EditionNobuhiro Sakuma

KINCHO Mold Prevention Muen-da Bath CM “The Guy Who Acts Like He Did It” Version 30 Seconds

This commercial opens with producer Nobuyuki Sakuma—who has long supported the TV industry behind the scenes—saying that invisible household chores are part of his backstage job.

It highlights how using Mold-Preventing Muender makes it easy to stop mold from forming.

Sakuma speaks with a pretty smug look on his face, but because the product is almost too effortless, the ad ultimately earns its title: “The Guy Who Acts Like He Did Something.” It’s a calm yet distinctly humorous and entertaining spot.

Kinchou GONGON “GONGON Advertisement” VersionHonami Sato

KINCHO Gongon Commercial 'Also Repels Dust Mites' Version 15 Seconds

Set on an advertising shoot, this commercial depicts Honami Sato, who serves as the brand’s spokesperson, being interviewed.

When she learns that Gongon also has a mite-repellent effect, she’s so surprised she’s at a loss for words.

Her wide-eyed expression of surprise is truly striking.

It’s a humorous yet simple composition, and the message comes across very clearly.
