Released as a digital single in November 2025, this track was produced as the lead song for the second album, “MAGenter.” It’s a mysterious love song where secrets and true feelings intertwine, featuring a modern, low-end-heavy sound and a dark mood.

The lyrics portray an irreversible surge of emotion, weaving danger and sensuality together with exquisite balance.

A stylish number that symbolizes a new phase for the group.

My First Kissanshin papa

Ever since it was used as the opening and ending theme for the TV anime Kiteretsu Daihyakka, this song has continued to enjoy unwavering support and can even be called a divine “kiss” anthem.

That distinctive voice created with a voice changer is truly memorable.

Many artists have covered it, including an all-star lineup like Takuya Kimura, Keisuke Kuwata, and Masayoshi Yamazaki.

Saying “kiss” out loud can feel a bit embarrassing, but yelling “chuu” at the top of your lungs somehow feels totally fine, doesn’t it? It’s a song I want to revisit and listen to again with a sense of nostalgia.

Even kisses are left-handedSKE48

A big hit from SKE48’s so-called golden era of the 2nd and 3rd generations, when members like Jurina Matsui, Rena Matsui, and Yuria Kizaki were selected.

It’s also the first song where Nanako Suga and Kaori Matsumura made the starting lineup, making it a constant topic among fans.

Inspired by the idea of a “dominant face for kissing,” riffing off right- or left-handedness, Yasushi Akimoto skillfully penned lyrics that capture a girl’s wavering, delicate feelings of love.

Who else but Akimoto would think to ask which way you tilt your head when you kiss? It’s a straight-up idol pop, feel-good uptempo track that even non-fans can enjoy.

Cold KissICE BOX

“Tsumetai Kiss,” sung by ICE BOX, a limited-time unit formed for Morinaga Confectionery’s ICE BOX.

The lyrics were written by Yasushi Akimoto, and renowned musicians such as Keizo Nakanishi and Hiromasa Ijichi participated as members.

The song was released in 1994, and when the unit was re-formed 25 years later, a Reiwa Year One version was distributed.

The lyrics depict the bewilderment at a kiss that feels unusually cold—“Huh? What? What’s wrong?” But perhaps that chill is simply because they’d just eaten ICE BOX.

A.S.A.P.Little Kiss

A song that evokes the beginning of a passionate romance, Little Kiss’s “A.S.A.P.” Little Kiss is a duo formed by Shizuka Kudo and Takaaki Ishibashi of Tunnels on the variety show “Tunnels no Nama de Daradara Ikasete!!”.

Their sole track, released in 1997, features lyrics by Yasushi Akimoto.

It portrays a heated, adult romance—one only two mature artists like Kudo and Ishibashi could sing—where, in the moment they meet and fall in love, they confirm their feelings with a kiss.

A classic song by Aya Matsuura, who single-handedly supported what was once called an idol drought.

Lyrics and composition by Tsunku, the producer behind Hello! Project.

As with his Sharam Q era works, Tsunku consistently pursues a “purity as a human being,” and his lyrics are nothing short of exquisite! The way he so precisely hits the points that delight listeners is a testament to Tsunku’s unique skill.

Also, pay attention to the teenage Aya Matsuura delivering a line like “Say you love me as many times as we’ve kissed”!

The track is a beautiful, warm ballad filled with a woman’s feelings as she wishes never to forget the moments of kissing him and being held tightly in his arms.
