daily newsKahara Tomomi

This was the last single produced by Tetsuya Komuro, released in October 1998.
It was also used as the theme song for the Momo no Tennen-sui commercial, and many people may remember it along with the footage featuring the artist himself.
The song gently comforts hearts that feel a bit tired from information overload and human relationships in everyday life.
Its pleasant groove infused with Latin elements and the lightly undulating melody line are superb, making it relaxing just to listen to.
It feels like a song that conveys the message of wanting to forget the hustle and bustle of the city and reclaim peaceful moments in nature.
The track is also included on the classic album “nine cubes,” and it’s a number we recommend to anyone seeking a bit of healing in their busy daily lives.
bouquetKitano Kii

Hanataba, the second single by Kie Kitano—which also served as the ending theme for the Nippon TV network program Sukkiri!!—was released in 2010.
Kitano’s sincere, unadorned vocals are the song’s greatest charm, in this piece written and composed by Tetsuya Komuro.
STILL LOVE HERMeg

Released in 2012, this song is included on MEG’s fifth album.
Originally featured on TM NETWORK’s 1988 album, it is a cover by MEG.
Unlike the original’s prominent keyboard feel and Takashi Utsunomiya’s powerful vocals, MEG’s version shifts to a gentler, warmer atmosphere.
The original evokes the quiet of night and a sense of the seasons.
alone in my roomSuzuki Ami

A dance number where Tetsuya Komuro’s urban production and Ami Suzuki’s crystalline vocals blend exquisitely.
Released in September 1998 as her second single, the song also became widely known as the opening theme for the audition show ASAYAN, where she was discovered.
There’s also the famous anecdote that Komuro rebuilt the track in just one day inspired by the image of the cover photo.
It’s a song that gently stays close to a delicate heart, turning loneliness into a forward-looking strength.
Joy to the loveAAA

Released in 2015, this track is included on globe’s special cover album.
It’s a cover by AAA of globe’s second single, originally released in 1995.
The song features a hallmark of globe’s early debut-era style: a combination of high-tempo beats and rap, complemented by a calm, composed vocal.
As with TM NETWORK, it conveys the sense that this is a song Mr.
Komuro himself wanted to sing.

the meaning of peaceKouda Kumi & BoA

“the meaning of peace” was released in 2001 as a single duet by Kumi Koda and BoA.
With the Japan–Korea World Cup approaching the following year in 2002, it also conveyed an intention to foster a mood of goodwill between the two countries.
19 MemoriesKato Miria

Released in 2008, this is Miliyah Kato’s 12th single, a sampling track that arranges Namie Amuro’s “SWEET 19 BLUES.” Kato has said she wanted to sing it as her last song in her teens, and it was created under Tetsuya Komuro’s composition and lyrics.
Although it’s arranged and therefore differs from Amuro’s original, the track closely reflects Komuro’s recent production style.
