for a whilerikon densetsu

A lyrical ballad that gently paints a tender nostalgia for the past through a legend of divorce.
It blends soulful elements strongly influenced by Marvin Gaye with a nostalgic melody reminiscent of 1980s New Music in perfect harmony.
Released in January 2025, this piece is a labor of love that Ayumu Matsuda and Jun Beppu nurtured over three years, and it has been selected as the theme song for the drama “Taigan no Kaji — This Is My Way of Life!.” A warm track that stays close to the hearts of those who have experienced heartbreak or separation, it quietly encourages the courage to face forward and keep walking.

Set to a rock ’n’ roll groove, this gem of a ballad captures the loneliness of a man spending a cold winter night alone and his lingering feelings for a former lover.
The melody woven by Yasuyuki Okamura and Kazuyoshi Saito brilliantly fuses the strengths of these two accomplished artists, hinting at new musical possibilities.
Released in January 2024 as the first installment of a five-month consecutive series, the song marked the launch of their duo, Okamura Saito.
Its straightforward lyrics convey the lingering attachment and regret toward a woman with a mischievous allure hidden behind her wistful eyes, along with the bittersweet imaginings of what she might be like now.
It’s a warm, comforting track for anyone standing at the end of a romance and the beginning of something new.

Chemistry’s 2001 release “Aishisugite” perfectly fits a sentimental mood.
It’s an acoustic number that exudes an adult atmosphere—arguably an early hidden gem.
That said, it’s included on their mega-hit album that sold three million copies, so many of you may have heard it in various settings.
The gently played tones and wistful melody, the long sustained notes in the latter half—Dōchin and Kawabata’s breathtaking harmonies and vocal prowess are mesmerizing.

Youthful AmigoShūji to Akira

A hit song released in 2005.
It was used as the theme song for the school drama “Nobuta wo Produce.” The duo style of Tomohisa Yamashita, who shines with multifaceted talent, and Kazuya Kamenashi, active as a member of KAT-TUN—both aces—made a strong impact! Some of you might often duet this at karaoke, right? With lyrics by zopp and a vibe reminiscent of classic kayōkyoku, it feels somehow nostalgic.
Their reunion as “Kame to Yamapi” in 2017 and their plans in 2020 have also been exciting—looking forward to their future activities as well.
