In addition to their talk skills that truly reflect their Kansai roots, their vocal technique—beyond the typical idol level—is widely recognized.
The song Anniversary was released as KinKi Kids’ landmark 20th single.
Because it’s a single that includes both the A-side and an arranged version of the A-side, it became a hot topic at the time for being released at the unusually low price of 500 yen for a single.
Bridge of Gloryyuzu

Yuzu is a male duo often regarded as pioneers of the second street live performance movement that began in 1997.
At the time of their debut, they mainly released folk-oriented songs, but once they started attracting public attention, they shifted toward catchy pop music.
Their classic hit Eikou no Kakehashi (Bridge of Glory) was chosen as the official theme song for the Athens Olympics thanks to its catchiness.
It remains one of their best-known songs to this day.

My WayDef Tech

The moment it comes on, the medium-tempo tune “My Way” wraps you in the refreshing air of summer.
It’s a signature song by Def Tech, a reggae duo made up of Shen, who grew up in Hawaii, and Micro, who hails from Tokyo, released on their 2005 album.
Although sales were slow at first, it gradually spread as a long-running hit through radio play and word of mouth.
The momentum back then was incredible, and in 2020 it won over a younger generation via TikTok.
The laid-back, soothing acoustic melody and the duo’s smooth flow are truly healing—so pleasant it becomes addictive.
The positive message that gently nudges you forward is wonderful, too.
The “THE FIRST TAKE” version, where you can savor their harmonies with an even closer feel, is also moving, so definitely give it a listen.
YC&K

C&K is a male duo currently establishing a music genre called JAM, which mixes various styles such as Black music, folk, and pop.
They are captivating artists known for their unique vocals that blend R&B- and soul-style melismas with Japanese-style melodies.
Their classic song “Y” features multiple appearances of CLIEVY’s high-tone voice throughout its structure and is very popular among fans.
Highly recommended for those who love emotional tracks!
HEARTKing&Prince

As the theme song for the TV drama “Falling for an Heir Is Just Too Hard,” starring Ren Nagase, King & Prince crafted a splendid love song set for release in March 2025.
Its gentle, uplifting sound and the refined choreography by dancer MONA create a heartwarming atmosphere.
The melody hints at the refreshing arrival of spring, and the lyrics, sparkling with swoon-worthy expressions, fully showcase the charm of King & Prince.
While aligning with the drama’s story, this song marks a new frontier made possible precisely by the duo of Ren Nagase and Kaito Takahashi.
It’s recommended not only for idol fans but also for anyone who wants to enjoy a pure love story.
