soliloquyHachiware (CV: Tanaka Makoto)

The manga series Chiikawa, which enjoys overwhelming support from women nationwide, has become even more beloved since it was adapted into a TV anime.
Hitorigotsu is a song that was used as the anime’s ending theme.
Because it’s a simple piece consisting only of guitar and vocals, you might worry that it doesn’t allow for any cover-ups if you lack vocal prowess.
However, the song features a very straightforward vocal line and a singing style without vibrato, among other easy elements, making it a perfect choice for aiming for a perfect score.
poopMoriyama Naotaro

Naotaro Moriyama is also known for having many comic songs.
Among them, the masterpiece that has put smiles on countless listeners’ faces is this classic, “Unko.” The vocal line in this piece isn’t exactly easy.
Of course, it depends on what key you set it in, but in many cases falsetto also comes into play.
That said, this work boasts an overwhelmingly short length compared to his other songs.
Its difficulty is around average, but if you give your all to the vocal part—which lasts only about 30 seconds—scoring a perfect 100 isn’t just a dream!
[Men] Which songs are more likely to score 100 at karaoke? Carefully selected easy-to-sing songs (101–110)
Take it Happy!ORCALAND

ORCALAND is a rock band known for its positive musical style.
Their melodies and lyrics, which seem to give listeners a push forward, have earned them a solid reputation, and they’re steadily gaining attention in the Japanese rock scene.
Among ORCALAND’s songs, the one I especially recommend is Take it Happy! The vocal range is about average, and since there aren’t any sudden pitch jumps or long, belted notes, it’s perfect if you’re aiming for a top score.
Be sure to add it to your repertoire.
Romantic Continentcozycozy

Cozycozy is a five-member twin-vocal band that’s steadily gaining popularity.
Their sound leans toward pop-infused rock and has been attracting dedicated Japanese rock fans.
Among their songs, the one I especially recommend is Roman Continent.
The piece spans a fairly wide vocal range, but it doesn’t include phrases with rapid pitch jumps, so if you track the pitch carefully, scoring a perfect 100 is definitely achievable.
Add it to your repertoire, by all means.
Land of the Lustrouskurage

Kurage is a band that’s been drawing attention in the recent Japanese rock scene.
Hailing from Nagoya, they’ve gained popularity with a straightforward, orthodox rock sound.
Among their songs, the one I especially recommend is Hōseki no Kuni (Land of the Lustrous).
Its upbeat melody might make it seem high, but the vocal range isn’t actually that wide.
On top of that, the vocal line is calm and relatively even without big leaps, making it perfect if you’re aiming for a top score.
Enoshima EscarASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION

A track included on ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION’s album “Surf Bungaku Kamakura (Complete Edition),” released in July 2023.
It has a very singable rhythm and tempo, the vocal range used isn’t very wide, and the melody itself is very simple—making it one of the best choices when you want to aim for a high score at karaoke.
While faithfully and accurately tracing the rhythm and melody of the original, don’t try too hard to sing it perfectly; delivering it in a plain, unaffected way might actually be the key to making it sound good.
Definitely give it a try!
That line is the horizon.kururi

This track is included on Quruli’s 12th studio album, Songline, which was released in September 2018.
It has a medium-to-slow tempo with a slightly languid vibe, and I feel that’s the song’s greatest appeal.
Even when you listen closely to the vocal melody, there aren’t any particularly complex lines or ranges that would make it hard to sing, so it’s very singable.
That also means it’s likely easier to aim for a high score if you select it in karaoke with a scoring feature.
The only concern when trying to score high would be letting the rhythm rush because you can’t resist the original track’s “languid atmosphere.” If you do that, you’ll spoil the very mood the original song has.
Keep that in mind and give it a try.
