[For Men] Want to Hype Up Karaoke? A Roundup of Recommended Lively Japanese Songs (91–100)
fuse (detonating fuse)Tegoshi Yūya

Released as a digital single on July 9, 2025, “Dōkasen” (Fuse).
Chita Henry, who worked on “Vibration” from the first best album “Yuya Tegoshi SINGLES BEST” released on May 14, 2025, also wrote and composed “Dōkasen.” In this song, the A and B sections are relatively calm and sit comfortably in chest voice, but the range shoots up going into the chorus, so it’s recommended for those who are good at high notes! Most of the high notes are in falsetto—and a powerful falsetto at that—so you’ll want to project them clearly.
Before singing, take a deep breath, and aim your voice diagonally upward from your head with the image of a sharp “SWA-POW!” (lol).
Alternatively, imagining the sound resonating strongly at the back of your head might also make it easier to hit.
Try both and see which works better for you!
Real FaceKAT-TUN

This is the debut song of KAT-TUN, a popular group from Johnny’s.
The sheer impact and presence they showed right from their debut became a hot topic at the time.
It’s a cool track that’s easy to sing at karaoke and perfect for getting everyone hyped together.
dororoASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION

ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, affectionately known as “Ajikan,” is very popular among men.
Their song “Dororo” was written as the opening theme for the 2019 TV anime Dororo, based on Osamu Tezuka’s original work.
It’s a powerful rock track where the thick low end pairs perfectly with the drum beats.
Ms. Hanako on a high pedestalback number

This one is for men who’ve fallen for a woman who feels completely out of their league: back number’s “Takaneno Hanako-san.” As the title suggests, the lyrics compare the singer to a woman like a high-born “Hanako,” and that slightly self-pitying tone is something many men can relate to.
Strangely enough, it’s a masterpiece that leaves you feeling positive once it’s over.
It’s love, right?wacci

I’ve been posting songs with the theme of “men with low voices,” and many of my students are “men with low voices” too! One of them has been practicing wacci’s “Koidaro.” In this song, the chorus jumps up in range to F#4, but the lowest note is a pretty low B2, which actually appears multiple times throughout.
How about first making sure you can firmly produce those easier low notes, and then try tackling the high notes with some momentum? Of course, it’s totally fine to start with falsetto instead of chest voice! If you keep singing, there will definitely be a point where it clicks, so I think it’s worth giving it a go even if it feels “a bit high.” Just don’t push yourself!
gazeSUPER BEAVER

This song has a very cool, band-like vibe! Especially the way the chorus builds—doesn’t it feel great to sing? I get the impression that SUPER BEAVER doesn’t have many songs in a high range and generally leans lower, and the vocal range for “Manazashi” is C3–A4, so it should be easy for men with lower voices to sing! SUPER BEAVER is very popular, so it seems tough to get concert tickets… They have a lot of cool songs, so adding them to your karaoke repertoire is sure to get everyone hyped!
StargazeSixTONES

SixTONES’ “Stargaze” was released in July 2025.
Since it’s a group song, it features a wide range of vocal registers.
There are, of course, low notes, and it sounds cool as a solo, but dividing parts among several people works great too! With lyrics, composition, and production by Yojiro Noda of RADWIMPS, the rhythm has a unique feel, so it might be tricky to sing on sight.
Be sure to gather your fellow SixTONES fans and have fun singing it together!
