[For Men] Want to Fire Up the Karaoke? A Roundup of Recommended High-Energy Japanese Songs (41–50)
Innocent BlueOmoinotake

Omoinotake’s track Innocent Blue, released on October 29, 2025.
Many of you may have first heard the song through its use in the commercial for Bourbon Alfort Mini Chocolate.
The song’s vocal range spans from mid1 D to hi D, which is quite wide for a male vocal.
While the pitch movement is extremely dynamic, the BPM itself is a relaxed 118.
However, because there are many sustained high notes, the difficulty can definitely be rated at A to S level.

Fantastic MagicTK from RIN TO SHITE SIGURE

A band known for many difficult high-tone phrases, TK from Ling tosite sigure.
While all of their works could be considered challenging, the one I especially recommend as a particularly tough piece is Fantastic Magic.
The hardest point of this song is, without a doubt, the chorus.
The range is mid1E to hiG#, which is still better compared to unravel, but almost the entire chorus sits at hiE or above.
Since the chorus is composed almost entirely of high-tone vocals, by the time you finish singing, the strain on your temples and throat will be immense—but I encourage you to give it a try.
Chaos reaches its peakUNISON SQUARE GARDEN

UNISON SQUARE GARDEN is a band that enjoys immense popularity in the anisong scene.
If you like anime, you’ve probably heard their songs at least once.
Among their tracks, the one I especially recommend as a challenging piece is “Chaos ga Kiwamaru” (“Chaos Reaches Its Peak”).
This song covers a wide vocal range from mid1E to hiC, and, true to UNISON SQUARE GARDEN’s style, features intense pitch shifts up and down.
Except for the part at the end of the chorus, most of it is built around high tones, making it a demanding song in terms of vocal stamina.
7th TriggerUVERworld

UVERworld is a band that commands overwhelming support from men with their motivational messaging and razor-sharp musicality.
While they have many exhilarating tracks, a lot of them are also quite challenging.
Among them, the one I especially recommend is “7th Trigger.” The vocal range in this song is extremely high, spanning from mid2A to hiF, with the chorus repeatedly hitting hiA to hiD.
It’s a piece that stands out for its sheer height, but since there’s room to lower the key, try tackling it in the key that suits you best.
Love song foreverVaundy

Singer-songwriter Vaundy is known for his wide-ranging musical style.
His track “Zutto Love Song,” released in August 2025, has garnered fervent support from fans.
The song leans toward a rock sound with a hint of Showa-era flavor, featuring distinctly Japanese phrases reminiscent of kayōkyoku.
While the piece isn’t consistently difficult throughout, the B-melody includes a section with pronounced pitch jumps, so you’ll need to be careful not to go off pitch there.
That said, the B-melody itself is very catchy and easy to sing, so if you’re confident in your pitch sense, be sure to give it a try.
absolute zeronatori

Natori is a singer-songwriter whose vocals blend youthful innocence with sexiness, earning her widespread popularity.
She has many classic songs, but the one I especially recommend as a high-difficulty track is Zettai Reido.
While Natori often favors a downer vocal style, this piece is crafted with a much louder sound, and the vocal lines are correspondingly raw and aggressive.
The range spans from mid1 A# to mid2 G#, which isn’t particularly wide, but with few break points and many rapid-fire phrases, it’s certainly a challenging song when it comes to nailing the pitch with precision.
LyricTOKIO

This song was used as the theme for the NTV drama “Don’t Cry, Hara-chan.” It starts with a relaxed melody, then suddenly picks up the tempo when it hits the chorus.
Be sure to pay attention to the vocalist’s clear, translucent voice.
It’s a refreshing track that’s great for karaoke.
