Fun Mountain Activities: Recreation Games (21–30)
This seals the deal for nighttime fun! Let’s go back to being kids and play with fireworks♪

Fireworks are probably somewhere around No.
10 on the list of things you stop doing when you become an adult.
You might still go watch them, but you don’t really set them off yourself anymore—partly because there’s nowhere to do it.
If you’re out in the mountains or doing outdoor activities, though, that’s the perfect chance.
A quiet round of sparklers might even spark some deep, heartfelt conversation.
mountain cuisine

It seems there are even cookbooks themed around “mountain cuisine,” so interest must be high.
I’m sure many hikers think, “If only I could eat something delicious here.” And not just eating in nature—actually cooking there is probably fun, too.
Look at the stars

If you head to the mountains, be sure to look up at the night sky! Unlike in the city, the starry sky you see from the mountains, with almost no artificial light, is truly breathtaking.
With a sky so full of stars it feels like they’re pouring down, you might find yourself saying “Wow!” without even thinking.
If you’re staying overnight at a campsite or a mountain lodge, why not set aside some time for stargazing? It’s fun to search for constellations with friends or try to spot shooting stars.
The quiet moments spent under the stars will surely become memories that stay with you.
Come on—let’s all look up at the starry sky and enjoy a wonderful night!
mountain climbing

When it comes to mountain activities, the first thing that comes to mind is mountain climbing.
Mountains offer completely different scenery depending on the season, and the sense of accomplishment you feel after a climb, along with the view from the summit, can only be described as magnificent.
However, be sure to go fully prepared with proper gear so you don’t risk your life in the mountains.
Feel the wonders of nature ♡ Enjoy some animal watching

Whether you have a camera or not, if you have a chance to visit a lush, green natural area, I highly recommend observing the animals that live there.
You might not usually pay much attention, but you can sometimes see creatures like birds, insects, monkeys, and deer—animals you might think you could only see at a zoo.
Every once in a while, stop for a moment and take in the quiet rhythms of nature breathing around you.
A bit for advanced hikers: night hikes and sunrise views are the romance of mountaineering.

Mountains at night have a slightly scary atmosphere, don’t they? It’s quiet and there’s no one around, so you might feel kind of left behind… But if you make it through a night hike, the morning you greet at the summit is truly exceptional—something really special.
There’s even a word for it: ‘goraikō,’ the first sunrise seen from a mountaintop.
You can try it on relatively low mountains like in the video, so it’s a great recommendation if you don’t like crowds!
bungee jump

One of the most iconic mountain activities is bungee jumping.
You leap from a bridge suspended over a river with a rope attached to your feet that’s shorter than the distance to the ground.
It’s an activity where you can enjoy full-throttle thrills and stunning scenery at the same time.
