Fun activities in the mountains. Recreational games.
Have you ever found yourself wondering, “Even if we say we’re going to have fun in the mountains, what exactly should we do?” If you’re the organizer of a company or club trip to the mountains, you’ll want to plan activities that are fun and help deepen bonds with your group.
There are many ways to enjoy the mountains throughout the four seasons.
Please use this as a reference.
Fun Mountain Activities: Recreation Games (1–10)
Insect collecting

There are many insects in the mountains.
Just observing them is fun, but collecting them is also recommended.
One of the interesting things is that the insects you can find vary depending on the season and the mountain you visit.
I think making specimens from the insects you collect is enjoyable as well.
However, please be very careful with dangerous insects like bees.
Orienteering

Orienteering is a type of sport that takes place in natural terrain such as mountains and fields.
Using a map and a compass, participants pass through set checkpoints in a specified order and compete for the fastest time to the finish.
There are competitions as well, so if you’re interested, check them out.
Being a monkey is surprisingly tough… Trying some serious tree climbing with full-on tree-climbing techniques

When you watch animals like cats and monkeys on TV, they seem to scamper up trees so effortlessly, don’t they? If you’re thinking it looks easy, try experiencing tree climbing on a mountain outing.
You need the strength to ascend vertically, and keeping your balance is pretty tough too.
It’s the same with rock climbing, but once you’re able to climb, the sense of achievement is huge—and that’s what makes it so fun!
What can we make with twigs and leaves? Nature crafts sound fun!

Nature crafts involve making things using materials found in nature.
If you’re someone who usually uses very convenient kits for crafting, this will surely be a great opportunity to cultivate your imagination! Joining a hands-on workshop like the one in the video also looks fun.
When playing in the mountains, branches and leaves at your feet make excellent playthings too!
grass whistle

It’s also called a “leaf whistle.” Making a whistle from a tree leaf and trying it out—practicing and playing music—is one of the joys of the mountains.
Materials are plentiful, and unlike in the city, you don’t have to worry about the neighbors.
Try turning your mood into a melody on the spot.
Mountain fun on an off-road bike

One of the thrills of motorsports is tearing through the mountains and fields on an off-road motorcycle built to withstand rough terrain.
If you’re tired of the city’s asphalt roads, why not give it a try? You might discover a new appeal of motorcycles and find your attachment to your beloved ride changing as well.
I bought a kayak and even had a launching ceremony!

When you head to the mountains, don’t forget to include some river fun as an option! You can go fishing, and above all, the waterside gives you that easy resort vibe to enjoy.
These days, there are plenty of kayaks and canoes that aren’t too expensive.
If you’re the outdoorsy type, why not get your very own kayak like in the video?
