Spring Music Festival in Eastern Japan [2026]

This is an event hosted by AAB Akita Asahi Broadcasting, a television station in Akita Prefecture. To promote regional revitalization and share the appeal of Akita’s traditional festivals and customs, performances will be given by artists connected to Akita and by artists who support the initiative. There will even be a free online stream, so those who can’t attend in person can still make it in time! GREEN FLASH Fes is held at a resort facility in Fukui Prefecture, set against the backdrop of the sea. A “green flash” is the moment when a green light appears as the sun sinks into the ocean, and legend has it that seeing it brings good luck. With your favorite music as the soundtrack, it’s an event where participants can spend their time freely—lying on the grass while gazing at the vast sky and ocean, or enjoying delicious food. There’s also a fully equipped campground nearby, so how about adding it to your travel plans?

Kofu Jazz Street is an event launched with the goal of community development. It’s a jazz event where you can freely stroll between live performances held on the same day at four long-established, historic venues: Sakuraza, Cotton Club, Saryo Fugetsudo, and ALONE. Another feature is that it’s held twice a year, in spring and autumn.
