Reiko Izuhara is an enka singer from Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, and this song was released in 2007 as her debut single.
Before her debut, she studied genres such as classical, canzone, jazz, chanson, and Hawaiian, making her an enka singer capable of performing a wide range of styles.
Nokemono Neverlandoku no hosomichi
The distorted vocal work is really cool! It’s a track by the Vocaloid producer Okuno Hosomichi—also known as the creator of “A Suicide Applicant’s Longing Seen 191 Seconds Before Death”—released in 2020.
The sound is heavy yet rhythmic, and it really gets you pumped.
It matches perfectly with the lyrics, “I don’t want to live in such a ridiculous world!” The stylish scat section that appears in the latter half is a must-hear.

NO WAR in the futureKeyakizaka 46
“NO WAR in the future,” included on Keyakizaka46’s debut album “Hashiridasu Shunkan” released in 2018, is also well known as the walk-up song for Tokyo Yakult Swallows pitcher Hiroki Hasegawa.
Why must we fight? If we had just a bit of kindness and love, conflict wouldn’t arise—this song embodies that universally held wish for peace.
It’s a track that makes you want to start with what’s close to you: to be gentle and to be willing to yield to others.
Noëlgōbusu
When you think of a song that gently evokes winter scenery, it has to be “Noël,” produced by Gobus in 2021.
A serene beat carries a tender, soothing melody line.

Judging by the unit’s name alone, Zutto Mayonaka de Iinoni is a very distinctive female vocal unit.
This is their second digital single, released in October 2018.
The vocalist ACA-ne (Akane) appears to possess highly advanced vocal technique, skillfully switching throughout the song between various tones—from powerful high notes using head voice to gentle highs using falsetto.
This variation is used very effectively, making the track an excellent reference and practice piece for singing high notes.
While it’s quite challenging to master, I’d strongly recommend it to anyone aiming to become a high-tone singer.
Notoriousteniwoha
This is a song related to “Maimai Maigoen,” a mixed-media project spanning games, manga, and more.
Composed by the Vocaloid producer Teniwoha—also known for the massive hit “Villain”—it was released in March 2023.
The track was created with Aki, a character from “Maimai Maigoen,” as its theme.
She often acts with an artistic flair, but… I can’t say too much.
If you know the story, just reading the lyrics might hit you hard.
It’s a chilling Vocaloid track that draws you in with its stylish yet sickly, deranged atmosphere.
The Farmer and the God: The Big ‘Ichimotsu’doburokku
A guaranteed crowd-pleaser for karaoke! This song by Doburock begins with a story about a poor farmer who goes into the forest to find medicine for his mother.
However, the farmer’s unexpected wish is for “a big manhood.” Ignoring even the words of God, he single-mindedly pursues his desire—lyrics that are impossible not to laugh at.
Released in September 2022, the track is a folk-style song carried by the light rhythm of an acoustic guitar.
It’s perfect for singing in fun, lively settings like drinking parties or banquets where everyone can share a laugh.
