NOT NATURALShigemori Satomi

After making a name for herself on variety shows, Satomi Shigemori went on to succeed as a rapper as well.
In contrast to her ditzy variety-show persona, her songs feature strikingly sexy lyrics and music videos.
Among her works, the track I especially recommend for low-voiced women is NOT NATURAL.
The song leans heavily on melodious rap, so it doesn’t include what you’d call traditional rap sections.
Because Shigemori’s voice is high, you might think it wouldn’t suit lower female voices, but the piece is arranged within a very narrow range, which actually brings out the strengths of low-voiced female singers.
No creditsSuzuki Masayuki

Don’t miss “No credits,” a song about a romantic night.
It’s one of the tracks included on the album Tokyo Junction.
Believe it or not, ASKA handled both the lyrics and the composition.
The strongly accented vocal style characteristic of ASKA meshes perfectly with Masayuki Suzuki’s voice.
When you sing it, try to articulate more clearly than with other songs.
That said, the rhythm itself is steady, so I think you’ll find it easy to sing.
NostalgiaHasegawa Akiko

Even if you stumble over something and fall, stand up again and push forward—surpassing even the version of yourself who fell.
It’s an anime song brimming with hope for the future.
You’ll surely be captivated by its sense of speed and a melody that’s both refreshing and cool.
It’s an energetic track we especially want teens busy with club activities to hear.
Not UnusualAbe Mao

Singer-songwriter Mao Abe continues to captivate fans with her powerful vocals born from a wide range that reaches into the low register.
The title track of her 10th album, “Not Unusual,” features an ensemble built around delicate piano sounds that feels wonderfully soothing.
The lyrics, which portray ordinary days with a child, are sure to resonate with anyone who has kids.
It’s a heartwarming pop tune that brings your family to mind when you want to unwind.

Yearning for Spring BreezeDavid Tao

David Tao is a powerhouse Taiwanese R&B singer who seamlessly blends an American-honed vocal style with Chinese cultural elements.
This song is a cover of a classic Taiwanese oldie that vividly captures a young girl’s longing for love.
Yo Hitoto, who has a Taiwanese father and has publicly declared herself a fan of David Tao, has also covered the song as a tribute to him.
No Namedenpa shoujo

This is a classic track by Denpagirl, renowned for their hybrid rap sound and striking visual flair.
They have a strong core fanbase and appeal to dedicated hip-hop heads, making it a stylish choice for listening tastes.
It’s also a song that can be highly effective for approaching male audiences.
Saw Girl ~I Can Go to the Bathroom by Myself~Aoki Sayaka

Sayaka Aoki is from Owari-Asahi City, and this song was released in 2009 as her debut single.
Originally, it was a song slated to be released by “50TA,” a character portrayed by Eiko Kano born from the TV Asahi variety show London Hearts, with lyrics and composition by Eiko Kano.
