Sinking Game

Recommended when you want to be active and play indoors! Here are some ideas for a “Sinking Game.” The Sinking Game is a fun activity that gets everyone excited while enjoying communication.

Pretend the room is the ocean and create islands using mats and vaulting boxes.

Teachers or guardians play the role of sharks, and the unique rule is that the children run away so they don’t get caught by the sharks! As they play, children can develop listening and decision-making skills, so be sure to incorporate it into your activities!

Sharpen your judgment and reflexes! Here’s a fun quick-grab towel game idea.

What you’ll need: white towels and flags.

Pair up in twos and sit facing each other across a table.

When the teacher raises a flag, quickly grab a towel.

Once everyone gets used to the rules, add a second or third towel color to make it more exciting! Watch carefully to determine the color of the flag the teacher raises, then find the specified color among the towels on the table and pull it toward you.

Tap the balloon and pom-pom to build motor skills and a sense of balance! Here are some balloon volleyball ideas.

All you need is a net and a balloon.

It’s a fun way to get moving! With this simple game using a net and balloon, kids will react quickly to keep the balloon from falling and try to send it into the opponent’s court.

It not only boosts physical ability but is also a great way to learn cooperation and teamwork.

Give it a try!

gomudan

Here’s how to play Gomu-dan (rubber band jumping).

First, prepare a flat elastic band, and have two people hold the ends.

Let’s start with a simple jump-over game.

Hold the band at ankle height and jump over it.

Even if your feet catch on the band, it’s a success as long as you make it through to the other side.

Try different ways of jumping, like two-footed jumps, backward two-footed jumps, and cartwheel jumps! You can also raise the height to increase the difficulty and excitement.

Be sure to keep the band pulled tight—if it’s slack, it can be dangerous.

Cat and Mouse

Which team will win? Here’s a game idea called Cats and Mice.

What you need are designated areas for each team.

Make the most of the room so the children can move around freely and play in a spacious environment.

Split into a Cat team and a Mouse team, and play a game where you try to return to your territory without getting caught by the teacher.

It’s a fun activity that makes kids burst into laughter, with the tension of listening carefully so they don’t mishear, and the exhilarating feeling of running away! In the end, which team will have more members? Give it a try!
