3D maze

It’s not a maze drawn on paper, but one where you roll a steel ball along a three-dimensional course.
Some are flat, box-shaped, while others are spherical.
Unlike ordinary mazes where you just find a path to the goal, these require balance and dexterity, so you can easily get absorbed and lose track of time.
Kendama

Kendama is a toy that almost everyone has played with, but when you look into it, you find it’s surprisingly deep, with a variety of intricate tricks and even certification tests.
You can enjoy it in many ways, such as increasing the speed of basic tricks or trying more difficult ones.
radio-controlled (RC) / remote-controlled

It’s a hobby where vehicles like cars, motorcycles, and helicopters are miniaturized and controlled with a handheld controller.
There are tiny models you can use indoors as well as ones that faithfully replicate real cars and bikes.
Some can be controlled with a smartphone or come equipped with a camera, so you can choose and play with whatever you like.

Ant farm observation

Many people probably chose the formation of ant nests as the topic for their summer vacation independent research when they were in elementary school.
For those people, an ant farm observation kit is recommended.
In addition to soil-based nests, there are kits that let you create transparent gel nests, making it very easy to observe how the nest is built.
Candle making

You can make your own original candles by melting wax and pouring it into a tube with a wick.
You can also melt crayons to add your favorite colors, or use essential oils to create your preferred scents, offering a variety of ways to enjoy them.
domino toppling

It’s a game where you line up small tile-like pieces called dominoes and topple them from one end.
You need concentration because you place them carefully so as not to knock over other dominoes.
In addition to simply toppling them, you can also use colored dominoes to create patterns and pictures.
knitting

It’s an activity where you knit yarns like wool or cotton to create original items such as scarves and sweaters.
Knitting is often associated with winter, but it can be enjoyed year-round—for example, in summer you can use jute twine to knit a cool-looking bag.
Also, the pattern and stitch density change depending on the knitting technique, making it a deep and rewarding craft you can enjoy over time.
