Paper Cup Crafts That Captivate Elementary School Kids! A Collection of Fun Project Ideas (11–20)
Paper Cup Frog Puppet

Easy to make! Here’s an idea for a paper cup frog puppet.
Paper cups are familiar items often used in preschools and at home, right? This time, let’s make a frog puppet using a paper cup.
You’ll need a paper cup, a pen, glue or adhesive, round stickers, and scissors.
If you want to be particular about the cup’s color, you can attach construction paper or origami paper to the cup.
By getting creative with how you draw the facial expression, you can make frogs that look different even with the same basic method.
Jumping frog

Here’s an idea for a jumping frog.
The mechanism itself is simple, so you can learn it quickly and get started right away.
First, prepare two paper cups.
Cut out the bottom of one cup and thread rubber bands through it in a crisscross pattern.
When you stack this cup onto the other one, the rubber bands get stretched, and when you let go, the cup pops up from the rebound.
Try adding creative touches to make it look cute.
You can also experiment by asking, “How can I make the frog jump higher?” and try different approaches.
Easy Ice Bazooka
https://www.tiktok.com/@picoton_craft/video/7495001435831307528Let’s make an Ice Bazooka that everyone can play with after making it! First, take a sheet of origami cut in half and draw your favorite ice cream on it.
Wrap it around a rolled piece of paper, grip it together, and secure it with tape.
That completes the bazooka ammo.
Next, cut out the bottom of a brown paper cup and draw a cone pattern on it.
Take a balloon with the tip of the part that inflates slightly trimmed, stretch it over the bottom of the paper cup, and tape it in place.
Finally, make a target using a paper cup and construction paper, and you’re done! Pull the balloon to launch your Ice Bazooka and aim for a high score!
Horns that move! Rhinoceros beetle

Rhinoceros beetles are popular insects, and there are lots of anime and games featuring them.
So how about recreating their cool look and the horn-lifting motion using a paper cup? You can make a beetle by covering a paper cup with brown origami paper and adding a mechanism that raises the horn when you press it.
By changing the color and the shape of the horns, you can use the same principle to make a stag beetle as well.
Displaying them as a set will create an even better atmosphere.
You could even have fun making them battle each other.
paper cup manga

How about making a paper cup comic where the story progresses as you twist it around? Prepare three paper cups: the outermost cup serves as the frame, the second cup handles the foreground elements like characters and speech balloons, and the third cup provides the background and the dialogue that goes inside the balloons—each cup has its role.
First, draw the comic within a predetermined frame size.
For the comic to be attached to the second cup, cut out the background; for the comic to be attached to the third cup, draw it so that it overlaps with the comic on the second cup.
Finally, stack all three cups, and you’re done.
It takes some work, but the sense of accomplishment when it’s finished is exceptional.
