Are you playing with enthusiasm?
It means to give your motivation a big boost!
This is very important.
I only get nervous during the actual performance.
This won't do.
If you play with great enthusiasm in your regular practice, you’ll become much, much better.
If you create something that motivates you and play it, you'll improve even more.
Are you really into it while playing?

Let your sense of rhythm well up from deep within your heart!
I believe that everyone has a sense of groove and rhythm.
Even if the shape differs and the way of expression is different, it should invariably possess some kind of rhythm.
Play it by bringing that rhythm out from deep within your heart.
If the rhythm doesn’t fit the song, you can just change it.
There’s nothing to be embarrassed about.
Are you taking proper baths?

It means to improve blood circulation.
Blood carries oxygen.
It delivers oxygen where you want it, when you want it.
If you keep your blood circulation good on a regular basis, both your nerves and muscles will function well.
Do you know how my body is made? It's 3D!

To improve balance in all directions—up and down, front and back, left and right—you need to know in what kind of balance your body becomes stable.
While playing, it's best to keep your center of gravity consistently low, but it keeps shifting depending on how you play.
Even if your body doesn’t actually fall out of the chair, it comes out in the sound.
Once you understand your own balance, it would be even better if you can also objectively sense your position within the space.
Are you moving your body a lot and having fun?

It’s important to build the muscles needed to play the piano.
There are playground equipment in the park.
All of the playground equipment is the kind that gives you a workout.
Even a swing that’s so much fun will leave you with sore muscles if you keep pumping it.
For adults who don’t usually exercise, riding a swing is pure torture (lol).
Are your fingers moving of their own accord?

To ensure smooth neural transmission between each finger and the brain, you need to play it repeatedly—over and over—until it goes the way you intend.
If you don’t yet have a clear image of the sound you want to produce and the ability to realize it as you intend, then there’s still plenty of potential ahead.
An even more fun world awaits.
Have you ever seen a performance with lightning-fast fingerwork live? YouTube alone just won't do!

Even if you don’t experience it yourself, seeing fingers move quickly in the same air becomes an experience of its own.
What kind of movements are involved in playing fast is something you can sort of understand when you actually see it.
There are times when it’s too fast to understand.
That's okay anyway.
You just need to get a feel for what it’s like when it’s so fast you can’t even tell what’s happening.
Sometimes, something triggers it and it moves unexpectedly fast.
It would be nice if, at that time, you could recall it with a similar feeling.
How does that sound?
To all the many piano enthusiasts, I hope this will serve as a hint to make playing the piano even more enjoyable.
