Polkadot Stingray is a rock band formed in 2015.
Even if you’re not very familiar with their songs, there’s a good chance you’ve come across the music video for Telecaster Stripe on YouTube.
Their music is characterized by catchy, easy-to-listen-to melodies and frequent use of cutting-style guitar and dance beats.
Their approachable, danceable tracks have earned strong support from many guitar rock fans.

Himitsu begins with a wildly imaginative guitar melody.
It was also used as the theme song for the film “Stolen Identity.” The complex rhythms keep coming, but the edgy guitar cutting and Shizuku’s shape-shifting vocals pull it all together into a pop sound.
It’s one of Polkadot Stingray’s most popular songs, so definitely give it a listen.

It’s a song that captures the mysterious feelings of a girl.
With straightforward lyrics that express the emotions of a girl in love, it resonated with many listeners.
Its catchy melody makes it stick in your head and highly addictive.

Everyone must have been shocked, wondering if this was really Polkadot Stingray.
“Rismi” is a ballad brimming with a calm, mature atmosphere.

This is a very upbeat, danceable track that serves as the ending theme for a beloved kids’ anime.

Released in October 2025 as the ending theme for the new chapter of the TV anime “Pokémon,” the song is also included on the album “GekirIN.” Created by Polkadot Stingray, it features an energetic, up-tempo rhythm that’s perfect for school sports days and dance activities! Kids can get into character as their favorites and move their bodies to the fullest.
