Polkadot Stingray’s classic and popular songs

Polkadot Stingray is a rock band formed in 2015.

Even if you’re not very familiar with their songs, there’s a good chance you’ve come across the music video for Telecaster Stripe on YouTube.

Their music is characterized by catchy, easy-to-listen-to melodies and frequent use of cutting-style guitar and dance beats.

Their approachable, danceable tracks have earned strong support from many guitar rock fans.

I’ll be introducing some of their songs now!

Of course, there are great tracks besides Telecaster Stripe as well!

So without further ado, give them a listen!

This piece is included on Omniscience and Omnipotence.

Shizuku’s murmured, almost muttered vocals and the dry, detached-sounding instrumentation convey the melancholic feelings of heartbreak.

I’ve heard that Shizuku, the vocalist, studied in the UK, and her singing carries the dim, moody quality characteristic of UK rock.

Polkadot Stingray is a band that keeps rolling out hit numbers with their catchy musicality.

Their new song “Ano ne,” is also showing signs of becoming a hit.

This piece tends to be perceived as somewhat high.

In reality, while there isn’t much in the low range, the ostensibly high parts often sit in the mid-to-high range, making it easier to sing than it sounds.

I think the toughest spot is the long sustained note at the end of the chorus, but since it’s also a peak moment, make sure to take a big breath during the rest right before it, and avoid pushing too much volume on the long tone.

Let’s enjoy singing this fast-paced rock tune! Created by the rock band Polkadot Stingray, known for songs like “Himitsu” and “Yoake no Orange,” this track is included on their 2021 EP “Sekirara.” It serves as the ending theme for the anime Godzilla Singular Point.

The energetic sound and vocals, along with Shizuku’s voice, fit perfectly! With a classic, super-catchy melody line, it’s easy to remember and easy to sing.

Released in September 2022 by Polkadot Stingray, a four-piece guitar rock band from Fukuoka, “Diver” is a moving song that portrays a journey of deep self-reflection and growth.

It was chosen as the theme song for the pro gaming league RAGE Shadowverse Pro League 21-22.

The track carries a message about the importance of believing in yourself and moving forward positively, even in the face of adversity.

Also noteworthy is Shizuku’s distinctive, characterful vocal performance riding on a unique rhythm.

Its cross-genre musicality—spanning pop, jazz, and electronic—is another major draw.

It’s an uplifting, motivating anthem that we hope everyone chasing their dreams will listen to.

Polkadot Stingray is a band known for their stylish, cool guitar sound.

Hailing from Fukuoka Prefecture, they formed in 2014.

In 2016, they released their first nationally distributed EP, “Honenuki E.P.,” and just a year later, in 2017, they made their major debut with the album “Zenchi Zennō.” The band’s name comes from the polka-dot stingray, a species of ray.

The group’s only female member and vocalist, Shizuku, not only creates the band’s music but also handles album artwork and merchandise design, showcasing her talents far beyond her singing.

Formed in 2015 around vocalist Shizuku, Polkadot Stingray is a rock band.

Shizuku’s cool voice, with a hint of smokiness, combined with the guitar’s sharp sound, captivates many fans.

As for the origin of their band name, it’s taken from the stingray with the same name; they chose it because it sounded good and had punch.

Indeed, it has a kind of vibe that makes you want to say it out loud, and once you hear it, it sticks in your head.

Of course, it’s not just the band name that’s memorable—their songs are too—so take this opportunity to give them a careful listen.

Android: Torisetsu MV 'Google Photos Is In There'

Polkadot Stingray is a female-vocal rock band from Fukuoka Prefecture.

They specialize in music tailored to demand and are a rare band that openly declares their aim to create commercially oriented music.

Indeed, their musical style aligns closely with current needs: while their works may lack strong individuality, they are exceptionally catchy.

In “Google Photos Haitteru,” a commercial song produced by the band is used.

Since it’s an original made for the ad, there’s no official music video, but the melody is highly addictive and sticks in your head after just one listen.
