As a prank, you could keep getting “calls” and leaving the scene repeatedly to test when they catch on.
If you prepare a call-incoming screen in advance, it’ll be harder for the other person to notice, so it’s recommended.
You can also spice it up by being creative with the caller ID name and the words you say during the conversation—those touches will make it more exciting.

Prepare a smartphone case that looks like it has a ballpoint pen stuck through it, and switch to that case while your target is away from their seat.

Then the scam outfit hikes the demand from about 180,000 yen to around 3 million.
