Theme songs and insert songs of the Pretty Cure series

Introducing the theme songs from the Precure series, the beloved heroines of 21st-century girls.

Back in the 1990s, Sailor Moon was the icon for girls, but since the Precure series began airing in 2004, it has taken the era by storm and is gaining popularity at a pace that could surpass Sailor Moon.

When the show first started, there were only two Precures, but more than ten years later, the number has grown to over 40.

Who is your favorite Precure?

Now, enjoy this energetic Precure playlist!

Maho Girls Precure OP: “Dokkin◇Maho Girls Precure!”
Dokkyn☆Maho Girls Precure!kitagawa rie

This is the opening theme of “Maho Girls Precure!” Because the beat is quite fast, the lyrics sound quick.

At around three minutes, it’s also one of the shortest opening songs in the Precure series, and it brilliantly reflects the mysterious world of “magic users.”

Flowers of Smiles. The Sky of the HeartKyua Passhon

It’s a character song from Fresh Pretty Cure.

The melody is very pleasant and gives you energy and power.

It’s an easy-to-understand, recommended song for children.

The clear, lively singing really resonates with me, and it makes me want to try singing it at karaoke.

It’s a famous song used in the movie.

The vocals are very beautiful—perfect for listening to on a day off.

The voice is so good that I want to keep listening to it.

It’s catchy, so it still holds up today, and I love it.

The music really soothes the heart and gives you energy and a smile.

This is the insert-song single from the Maho Girls Precure movie.

I think this one is quite a hidden gem too.

It has the vibe of a battle about to begin, and it’s really good—definitely a track everyone can get into at karaoke.

It brings back that emotion all over again.

Let’s go, Smile Precure!Ikeda Aya

It’s the opening theme of Smile Precure! It’s such a memorable scene.

Even now, it remains an unforgettable hidden gem.

This is definitely a song I want to sing at karaoke again.

I recommend it because it’s an uplifting song that brings a smile to your face.

Getchu! Lovey-dovey?!Gojō Mayumi

This is the ending theme of Futari wa Pretty Cure.

The lyrics brilliantly reflect the anime’s concept of “being allies of justice while also being ordinary junior high school girls who cherish their everyday lives.” In the animation, you can see the main characters marching.

Additionally, the vocal album includes a version sung by Honna Yoko, who plays Nagisa Misumi/Cure Black, and Yukana, who plays Honoka Yukishiro/Cure White.

DokiDoki! Precure’s second ending theme, “Love Link.” From the music alone, it feels adorable and full of friendship—I think it’s a really wonderful song.

Even now it feels very nostalgic, yet fresh, the kind of classic you can listen to over and over.

It’s a masterpiece that brings back memories of the Precure of days past.
