They are one of the great bands of early progressive rock.

Although their musical style later shifted toward a more technical and technological direction, in the early days they had a strong, spiritually oriented psychedelic rock character, and there are many fans of that era.

Hocus PocusFocus

A track released in 1971 by Focus, a Dutch progressive rock band.

It features sounds such as flute and accordion.

It was used in a Nike TV commercial and was sampled on J.

Cole’s 2010 track “Blow Up.”

Master of the UniverseHawkwind

In classical music there are composers who use only the compositional techniques they themselves devised, but Hawkwind was a band that created music using just one method.

Their music, which endlessly repeats short phrases of four or eight bars, was also called “space rock.”

Like Yes, Camel was a band that showcased lyrical compositions and technical playing.

SuspiriaGoblin

Goblin is an Italian progressive rock band.

This song became famous as the theme for the occult film Suspiria, which took the world by storm.

Incidentally, Goblin composed the entire score for the film and went on to create music for other horror movies as well.

Magnum OpusKansas

A track by the American rock band Kansas.

Released in 1976 and certified platinum in the United States, it is included on the album Leftoverture.

It was sampled in The Alchemist’s 2013 track We Keep the Title.
