One of the quintessential British progressive rock bands is Genesis.
Their musical style changed significantly between the early period with Peter Gabriel and the later period when Phil Collins took the lead; this is a classic from the Phil Collins era, when the band’s sound became more New Wave-influenced.

German progressive rock presents a somewhat different character from that of other countries, with many bands exhibiting a very dark, highly improvisational, psychedelic rock side.

Banco del Mutuo Soccorso is an Italian rock band active since 1969.
This track is included on the concept album Darwin!, which explores the birth and evolution of species on Earth.
