THE ALFEE Popular Songs Ranking [2026] (31–40)
Sapphire EyesTHE ALFEE31rank/position

A mature rock number brimming with Sakurai’s sexy charm.
It’s a 1987 single released simultaneously with “Kimi ga Toorisugita Ato ni -Don’t Pass Me By-.” The interplay between the bass and drums is fantastic, and the horn sound rings out in the instrumental break.
Sakazaki also handles the drums, and with Takamizawa’s guitar cutting and Sakurai’s slap technique, the sound is insanely cool.
It makes you want to listen while driving down the highway at night.
Holy Night – Two People’s Silent NightTHE ALFEE32rank/position

THE ALFEE is one of those artist groups that has stayed at the forefront for a long time.
This song, “Hoshiyo – Futari no Silent Night,” feels less like something for adults to spend a quiet Christmas evening with and more like a track that would really liven up a party.
It gives me a sense of an unchanging aesthetic.
Let’s try dancing to this song at the party.
Radical TeenagerTHE ALFEE33rank/position

It’s a message song sung by Sakazaki.
It’s a refreshing and wonderful cheer song.
It’s very popular among fans, and it’s the kind of lovely track that makes you feel energized when you listen to it.
The Alfee really have so many good songs that it’s hard to decide which one to recommend.
I believe it’s a song from around the 1980s.
Love letterTHE ALFEE34rank/position
This is the song with which THE ALFEE made their re-debut after failing to score hits and temporarily terminating their contract with their record company.
Used in a commercial for “Showa Note,” this track is an early classic that encapsulates THE ALFEE’s charm as a folk group.
summer showerTHE ALFEE35rank/position

THE ALFEE is a three-member rock band formed in 1973.
Each member’s character stands out, and they are a band known for their excellent harmonies.
Natsu Shigure was released as their first single on August 25, 1974.
STARSHIP ~In Search of Light~THE ALFEE36rank/position

Since their formation in 1973, THE ALFEE has continued to lead Japan’s music industry.
Hearing their hit songs brings back memories of those days—“Everyone was buzzing during the bubble,” “Those sorrowful wars kept going…” This song was released in 1984 as THE ALFEE’s 18th single and was also used as the theme song for the animated film Lensman.
It’s also a groundbreaking track in which the lead vocal shifts from Sakurai toward the end to Takamizawa.
Takamizawa’s high notes—there’s no way to replicate those at karaoke, right?
Today’s continuation becomes the future.THE ALFEE37rank/position

Released in 2016 as their 65th single, “Kyou no Tsuzuki ga Mirai ni Naru” (“Today’s Continuation Becomes the Future”) was used as the ending theme for the Nippon TV program “Burari Tochuu Gesha no Tabi.” This song portrays the passage of time with a beautiful worldview and sings about the connection between past, present, and future.
While some may associate THE ALFEE with rock numbers and a harder image, this is a gentle track that helps you relax your shoulders amid busy days or moments of frustration, encouraging you to “go at your own pace.”
AdventurersTHE ALFEE38rank/position

THE ALFEE’s hidden gem “Adventurers.” If you’re not a fan, you may not be familiar with it, but this track enjoys strong popularity in certain circles because it’s a rare piece with a jazz flavor among THE ALFEE’s songs.
The vocal range is about average, and the structure features a sudden surge in voltage at the chorus.
The chorus shifts to a rock feel with a simple, repetitive structure, while the A and B sections sit comfortably in an easy-to-sing low-to-mid register.
The sun does not set.THE ALFEE39rank/position

This is the 50th single, which was used as the theme song for the Fuji TV drama “Shomuni FINAL.” The lyrics, which sing about the importance of not succumbing to adversity, bring to mind the strong-willed character of Chinatsu Tsuboi, the drama’s protagonist played by Makiko Esumi.
It’s a track with a powerful, cool guitar riff.
At the end of a reckless run with no tomorrowTHE ALFEE40rank/position

This is quite an old song.
I think it was from their acoustic era, before they put out any hit singles.
The lovely acoustic guitar intro is very striking, and it’s one of my favorite songs as well.
The sound of a live acoustic guitar is truly wonderful.
