[Birthday] Ranking of Popular Skits/Performances (61–70)
Merch of my fave (idol/character)61rank/position

These days, there probably aren’t many high schoolers who aren’t into “oshi-katsu” (supporting their favorite idols or characters).
Oshi-katsu has become a social phenomenon and a comforting presence that adds color to everyday life.
Many people even work hard at school so they can go to live shows and concerts! And oshi goods are essential for that.
With Daiso’s slide mirror keychain, all you have to do is stick on a photo of your fave and you’re done.
If you decorate it cutely, it also makes a great gift.
Since it’s a keychain, you can attach it to your bag and look at your oshi anytime for a quick power boost.
Beef Tongue Game62rank/position

The more people, the harder it gets! A perfect recommendation for a birthday party activity is the “Gyūtan Game.” The rules are very simple.
First, everyone sits in a circle.
Then, with your hands together in front of your body, the game begins.
Decide the first player with rock-paper-scissors or similar, and proceed in order from there.
When the first player says “Gyū,” the next player claps their hands.
At this point, they must not say “tan” out loud.
Keep passing the turn like this and follow the set patterns.
The first round’s pattern is “Gyū, tan, Gyū, tan, Gyū, tan, tan,” and with each round, one extra “tan” is added at the end.
It’s a hilarious game where everyone ends up getting confused in the best way!
Pop-up card with a rainbow63rank/position

Open the card and surprise! How about giving your child a pop-up card with a rainbow for their birthday? It looks like the rainbow is leaping out, so kids are sure to be thrilled.
You can easily make the rainbow by accordion-folding colored paper and shaping it like a fan.
Not only the rainbow—try decorating it with clouds and stars for a whimsical finish.
You could also add your child’s favorite characters or animals to make it even more delightful.
“Congratulations!” in a reverse playback telephone game64rank/position

Do you know the reverse-playback telephone game? The reverse-playback telephone game is a version of the telephone game played using a recording app that has a reverse playback feature.
Players can only listen to what’s being said in reverse, so it’s more challenging than usual.
It’s also great for birthday surprises.
Make the birthday person go last and pass along a keyword like “Happy Birthday.” When they figure it out, they’ll be both surprised and moved.
aroma wax bar65rank/position

Aroma wax bars aren’t exactly a mainstream item yet, but they’re steadily gaining popularity among style-savvy folks.
You might even have a classmate who says, “I already use one!” Unlike incense, which requires a flame, aroma wax bars let you enjoy fragrance easily without using fire.
Since there’s no flame involved, they’re safe for households with small children or pets.
Plus, you can make them using only items from a 100-yen shop, so they’re budget-friendly for high schoolers.
Use dried flowers, your favorite characters, or your idol’s placard to turn them into wonderful gifts.

Send a celebratory LINE message to everyone at once66rank/position
A surprise where everyone sends celebratory LINE messages at the same time is a wonderful idea! If you all send your messages at the time you decide together, your loved one’s phone will overflow with warm words.
Their happiness will surely soar all at once.
Add stickers and virtual gifts to make the celebration even more memorable.
Even if you usually live far apart, it’s great that you can create a lively, festive atmosphere together.
Why not try it for your loved one’s next birthday? It’s sure to become an unforgettable, special day!
Put a present in a desk or bag67rank/position
You’d be surprised to come to school in the morning and find a present in your desk, right? That’s why I recommend the surprise of putting a gift inside the desk.
The size of the present is limited, but it’s easy to do and has a big impact when it’s found.
You could also put it in a bag or a shoe locker instead of the desk.
If it’s in a bag or a shoe locker, they’ll likely find it on their way home.
Try placing it according to the timing when you want to give the present or set up the surprise.
Rabbit birthday card68rank/position

This is a rabbit-themed birthday card that’s perfect for gifting to kids, friends, or someone special who loves bunnies! It uses a simple mechanism, so even beginners at handmade cards can easily make it.
Another great point is that you can customize the decorations to your liking! The giver can enjoy making it while putting their feelings into it, too.
You could also add a fun feature where pulling a ribbon opens the present, include a birthday flag motif, or write a message—any of these will make it look wonderful.
Oshibori art69rank/position

This is a party trick that comes in handy for birthday parties and drinking gatherings.
As long as you’re at a place that provides wet towels (oshibori), you can do it anywhere, and when you perform it on the spot using whatever’s available without any prior preparation, it’s sure to impress and liven up the crowd.
There are plenty of ideas on YouTube, so be sure to check them out.
Funny Dagashi Box70rank/position

Before we even learned addition in elementary school, many of us picked it up at the candy shop, adding 10 and 20 yen, didn’t we? Just hearing “dagashi” (old-fashioned Japanese snacks) brings back childhood memories.
How about gathering a variety of dagashi to make a “fun dagashi box” as a gift? Try collecting a full set of nostalgic treats like Yocchan Squid, Bontan Ame, and Dondon-yaki.
I think it would also be a delightful surprise for older folks, perhaps even more than for the younger generation.
If you head a bit out of the city, you might still find old-style dagashi shops around.
The time spent hunting down the snacks is part of the fun, too.
