Reve 21 “40th Anniversary Grand Thanksgiving” Edition
This commercial is a campaign from Reeve 21, which celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2016, offering the initial Reeve 21 plan at 80% off to the first 35,000 customers as a token of gratitude.
It’s a very catchy and easy-to-understand commercial.
There’s nothing particularly flashy about it, and no appearances by celebrities, yet it still conveys exactly what it needs to.
I’m always impressed by how they manage to create such truly clear and straightforward ads.
Reve 21 ‘A Small Cheer’ Version
This is the “Small Encouragement” series of commercials by Hair Clinic Reeve 21, which dramatize real episodes that took place between treatment staff and customers.
In this story, a woman is told by her child, “Mom, you’re cute even without hair.” Both the woman and her specialist work hard not only for themselves but also for the child, and they arrive at the child’s Shichi-Go-San celebration, a special milestone.
The specialist, moved to tears, looks at the photos from that day over and over again.
Reve 21: “Shall we aim for hair growth that keeps on growing?”
A commercial featuring Katsumasa Okamura, the president of Hair Clinic Reve 21, known for the slogan “No need to worry.” He’s probably one of the more widely recognized entrepreneurs in Japan.
It’s said that while running a dry-cleaning shop, he independently began researching hair-growth medicine, which became the starting point for this business.
His slightly lisping delivery gives it a nice touch.
The background music is an instrumental piece with a grand, expansive feel.
Reve 21 ‘First Step to Hair Growth’ Edition
This is a commercial for Hair Growth First Step, a service Leave 21 launched in 2014.
It was started to encourage people who are struggling alone—wondering what to do because everyone’s hair concerns are different—to come in casually.
Just by watching this commercial, anyone with even a slight concern about their hair can feel it’s easy to give it a try at least once.
It’s a clear and approachable ad!
Reve 21: “We are graduates of Reve 21 | Mr. Hiroyuki Sato” Edition
Hiroyuki Sato talks about the power of hair.
He worked on hair regrowth with Rebe 21 and achieved results.
He competed in the 9th Japan Hair Regrowth Championship, and you can see photos from that time in the commercial—what a truly wonderful smile.
Having more hair and feeling brighter…
I think it’s a hopeful story.
Small things can spark positive feelings, and then you can go on to live happily…

Reve 21: “We’re graduates of Reve 21 | Featuring Ryoma Kiya”
There are times when the smallest difference can spark positive feelings, aren’t there? This is a commercial featuring Ryoma Kitani, who has experience competing in the Rêve 21-sponsored Japan Hair Regrowth Championship.
His words—saying that the feelings he had when his hair grew back have lasted up to this very moment—may be something many people find enviable.
Being able to feel positive about yourself is, in a way, a kind of happiness, isn’t it? It’s a very uplifting ad that gives you energy and could even be the trigger to change the way you live.
Reve 21: “We are Revue 21 Graduates | Mr. Yujiro Kawai”
Joy that you can feel without doing anything special… what a lovely phrase.
This is a commercial featuring Yujiro Kawai, who competed in the Japan Hair Regrowth Championship hosted by Reave 21.
It’s short and simple, but Kawai’s sense of satisfaction comes through in his expressions and tone of voice.
Hair concerns are hard to talk about, aren’t they? You end up keeping them to yourself, feeling down or anxious.
