List of Rock Festivals in Eastern Japan [2026]

Urayasu Ongaku Mura is one of the largest music festival events in Urayasu, held at the Urayasu Civic Plaza Wave101, where citizen musicians from across the city gather. The three halls inside the venue are imagined as Music Village Districts 1 through 3, showcasing a wide variety of genres from rock to acoustic singer-songwriters. There is also a program where the top act at each venue, chosen by audience vote, earns a spot to perform in “Machikado Live & Communication U-Style ~Music Village Special~.” The 12th edition is scheduled to take place in February 2026.

As part of Katsushika Ward’s “Katsushika, the City of Music” initiative, this music event was launched to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Katsushika Symphony Hills. Ten rock-oriented amateur bands, mainly active within the ward, will gather at the Mozart Hall to deliver a wide variety of performances. The guest act is Alaska Jam, known for its one-of-a-kind style that fuses hip hop and guitar rock. Scheduled for February 2026, admission is free and no reservation is required.
