VIVA LA ROCK is Saitama’s biggest music festival. It has established itself as a mega-festival, attracting more than 60,000 attendees. Held every year during Golden Week, the event features passionate rock bands that captivate countless fans. In addition, VIVA LA GARDEN, which takes place beforehand in an adjacent space as a free-zone event, is packed with activities that both children and adults can enjoy, making it a great, easy-to-join option for families as well.

A rock festival exclusively for female artists, planned by Keiko Terada of the rock band SHOW-YA. This is a free-admission music event held in Kamakura City that began in 2014 as an “outdoor live music festival without electricity.” The concept was created out of a desire for people to experience music up close, making it an event that conveys a sense of warmth.

“Green Room” is a surfing term referring to the hollow, tube-like part of a wave that surfers ride through. This event, named after that term, is held under the concept of “protecting our vanishing beaches.” Through music and art, it aims to share surf and marine culture and express a desire to protect the beach. It also sounds great to relax and enjoy music at a seaside venue.

This rock festival started in the spring of 2023 to energize the North Kanto area. It brings together must-see and supportive artists who fire up the crowd with their performances—an essential part of any music festival. It’s a new-style event that rotates its venue each year among Ibaraki, Tochigi, and Gunma prefectures, and we’re also focusing on the market aspect so it can become an event cherished by the local community. As a new festival organized by Ibaraki Broadcasting, the LuckyFM Green Festival has been held since 2022. Following the relocation of the ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL, the event has adopted the motto “Don’t let the flame of Ibaraki’s festival culture go out,” and has been reimagined with a new concept as a celebration of music, food, and art at its venue, Hitachi Seaside Park.
