We’d like to introduce music festivals in Shikoku that focus on rock.
When it comes to rock festivals in Shikoku, MONSTER baSH is certainly the most famous, but there are other recommended rock festivals as well.
There are many bands from Shikoku that are regulars at rock festivals, and it’s exciting to see them active on their home turf.

Sound-Viewing Band FestSunday, 5/31, Kagawa Prefecture
This is a music event held in the Small Hall of High Staff Hall (Kan’onji Civic Hall) in Kan’onji City, Kagawa Prefecture, featuring a “big gathering of local bands.” It is organized by Rock & Roll Forever and co-hosted by High Staff Hall (Kan’onji Civic Hall), and will mark its 6th edition in 2026. Tickets are all general admission, priced at 800 yen, with re-entry permitted. In May 2026, local bands from Kan’onji will come together for this event.
