When I attended my first music festival as a freshman in college, I was captivated by its charm—“I can’t believe there’s a place this free and this fun.” I share information about wonderful music festivals every day to help grow the community of festival fans.

We’ve put together a list of music festivals in Tokushima Prefecture, including spring festivals, summer festivals, rock festivals, and outdoor festivals.

The Tokushima Jazz Street is a jazz festival with a very long history. Multiple live performances take place simultaneously at various venues throughout the city. This year, numerous artists will perform live across 11 venues. These circuit-style events are wonderful, offering an extraordinary feeling as a familiar city overflows with music.
