Cool! Rope skipping trick

Are you familiar with rope skipping? It’s a performance where you incorporate technical tricks while jumping rope.
It seems regular double-unders and the like are included as well, so you probably learned the basics back in elementary school! So, now that you’re an adult, why not start rope skipping to help relieve a lack of exercise in your daily life?
Pull-ring toss
@n.annlee321 I shared it with photos on Instagram 🌸 My son was playing with a ring toss after attaching a string to it, so I named it the “pull ring toss” 😊#StayAtHomeSquadLife with children#tiktok classroomSummer Vacation Craft#HandmadeToys#AtHomePlay#StayHomeTime

With this loop with a string attached, you can easily enjoy a ring toss game.
First, roll up some newspaper to make a ring.
Wrap it with vinyl tape from the outside to reinforce it.
It’s also recommended to decorate it by adding masking tape or similar on top.
Then, attach a piece of yarn or another string to the ring, and it’s complete! Use building blocks or crumpled newspaper as targets, place them in various spots, aim at the targets and toss the ring, then pull it back to yourself with the string.
Draw a line to clearly show where to throw from.
Tree climbing

The view from high up is truly special.
Of course, those with a fear of heights might say, “No way,” but if you’re up in a tree you climbed with your own strength, there’s a view waiting that will blow that fear away! That said, some branches are brittle and it can be dangerous.
That’s where rope-assisted tree climbing—rope climbing—comes in to reduce those risks.
centipede race

It’s a game where several members run with their legs tied together in a vertical line with a rope.
Needless to say, the key is synchronizing everyone’s steps.
There are various play styles, such as head‑to‑head races between teams and relays.
Since the number of participants can be increased without limit, it’s used to compete for the world’s number one spot in the Guinness World Records.
DIY with rope: turn an old tire into a low table!

Let me introduce a DIY project using rope.
Believe it or not, you can upcycle an old tire into a stylish coffee table! The method is simple: attach boards to the top and bottom of the tire, then secure the rope with a hot glue gun.
Why not try creating a lovely room that looks like it came straight out of an interior design magazine?
Cool! Battle rope

Here’s a powerful workout using ropes.
“Battle ropes” are an intense training method where you wave two ropes or twist your body to slam them.
It’s said to improve endurance and build strength.
It really makes you want to try it yourself, doesn’t it?
[Magic] The Vanishing and Restoring Rope

Magic performed with ropes is quite profound; the ways of tying and cutting offer many different presentations.
This one features a knot that seems to slide smoothly along the rope.
As expected, magic truly shines through hand movements, eye contact, and patter.
How you hold the rope to conceal the cut and the technique of pretending to cut—these are the key points!
Top-rope climbing

Top-rope climbing is when you climb an indoor bouldering wall using a rope that has been set up in advance.
Because the rope keeps you safe, you can enjoy climbing relatively safely, making it accessible even for beginners.
Let’s weave a bag with rope

How about trying a DIY bag made only with rope? Rope is like a thick thread—once you learn the stitching techniques, you can weave it quickly.
You can also choose freely from various colors and materials, so planning your project is part of the fun.
It would make a great gift for friends or family, too!
lasso

Speaking of cowboys, their signature is the lasso used to catch prey.
Back in the Showa era, when Westerns were popular in movies and on TV, playing with a lasso was one of the classic children’s games.
It might be fun to set up a stake as a target and soak in that wild-west feeling.
