[Quick and Surprising] Rope Magic Tricks [Party/Stage Act] (31–40)
A magic trick that makes ropes of different lengths become the same

This is a classic and quite famous rope trick that uses an optical illusion to make ropes of different lengths appear the same.
I think it’s an easy magic trick even for beginners.
Give it a try, and be careful not to let anyone see your hands too closely.
Finger-Through Rope

A rope hooked on your finger passes right through it! You can easily perform this slightly scary surprise magic trick.
First, tie the rope into a loop and hook it onto one of your fingers.
When you hook it, don’t pass the rope fully around the finger—instead, bend your finger and catch the rope around the first knuckle where it won’t be visible.
Then, as you pull on the count of 1, 2, 3, rotate the wrist of the hand that’s holding the rope at the moment you say “3.” The rope will slip off as if it passed straight through your finger.
It’s a solo trick, so be careful not to expose the method while you perform it!
red and white bonding rope

It’s a magic trick where you tie the ends of three ropes together to make one long rope, wrap it around your hand, sprinkle confetti, and when you untangle it—amazingly—it turns into a single rope.
Rather than being surprised, you first can’t help but wonder how it’s done.
A big ring

After trimming ropes of different lengths to be the same length and seemingly tossing each one into a ring, all three suddenly link together to form a large ring—and then, before you know it, what should have been three ropes turns into a single long rope.
It’s the kind of magic that leaves you completely astonished.
String removal

This is a perfect string-untying magic trick for surprising your friends.
First, cross two strings and tie both ends of the first string around your friend’s wrists.
Then tie the second string around your own wrists in the same way.
At first glance, it looks like there’s no way to get free.
But there’s a slick method to slip out.
You may have seen it on YouTube Shorts or Instagram Reels.
By the way, using two different colors of string makes it easier to see what’s going on.

A rope passing through a ring

A surprising magic trick where a ring passes through a rope! Even though the ring is placed on a far central part of the rope where it shouldn’t be able to pass through, somehow in the next moment the ring ends up threaded onto the rope.
Here’s how: Hook the rope over your thumb and the other four fingers, and press the ring several times against the section of rope between your fingers.
After doing this motion about twice, secretly remove the rope from your thumb without the audience noticing.
Then, when you place the ring between your thumb and the four fingers, pull out the rope that was hooked over the four fingers through the ring.
This makes it look as if the ring has penetrated and passed through the rope.
Try it while being careful not to reveal the secret to your audience!
Traveling silk

This is a magic trick called the “Traveling Silk,” where one of two silk handkerchiefs appears from a completely different place.
You spread one silk over your hand, then push the other silk down into your hand from above.
Once the silk is fully inserted and no longer visible from the outside, you take out a rope.
With a single shake of the rope, the silk handkerchief you supposedly tucked into your hand appears tied to the rope! It truly looks like a traveling silk.
You can buy it at shops that sell magic tricks and props, so be sure to pick one up and experience this mysterious silk magic for yourself!
