A rope slipping through an arm

A magic trick where a rope looped around an arm—supposedly impossible to remove—slips off easily on the count of 1, 2, 3! First, make a loop with a single rope.
Put it over someone’s arm, then have them clasp their hands together so the rope can’t slip off toward the palm side.
On the count of 1, 2, 3, give a quick pull and the rope pops off—magic success! The method is simple: on the “3,” hook one thumb onto the other side of the rope and pull swiftly.
This ties the rope in a way that, even though both hands block the exit, it comes off easily!
Magic where a rope passes through the neck!

It’s a surprising rope trick where the rope wrapped around your neck seems to pass right through.
If you often wear a suit for work, using a necktie instead of a rope will look very natural and is sure to amaze people around you.
Practice well so you can perform it smoothly and naturally.
slipping-through rope

Wouldn’t many people be surprised if a rope suddenly passed through an object? With just two ropes, you can perform a magic trick that will amaze everyone.
Ask one person to hold a rope vertically.
Then hook your own rope onto it and pull—your rope will seem to pass right through.
With a small adjustment to how you move the hand holding your rope, it will slip through easily.
Invite friends or coworkers to participate and have them hold the rope.
They’ll be astonished by what happens right before their eyes.
A magic trick where a stuffed toy ties a rope by itself
I’m going to introduce a magic trick where you put a rope and a teddy bear into a paper bag, shake the bag, and a tied rope comes out—as if the plush bear tied it by itself.
Hold the rope by pinching it with your left thumb, then twist the rope with your right hand, rotating it once as you loop it over your hand.
Repeat this same motion.
Once all four fingers are inside the loop, insert your right hand into the loop, pinch the end of the rope with your index and middle fingers, and thread the rope through—but make sure you do the threading inside the upper part of the paper bag.
Put the doll inside, shake the bag, and you’ll have a tied rope! The key is to twist the rope and give it a full turn.
Friendship Rope

Once you learn the setup, this is an easy magic trick you can do right away.
Prepare a red rope and a blue rope.
The trick is simply in how you thread these two ropes.
It’s simple, but you can perform a trick where the colors of the ropes hanging over your arms switch in an instant.
When the colors switch, try quickly spinning your body in a full turn as you do it.
Seeing the colors swap right before their eyes will double the surprise.
Of course, you can also cover the arm with the ropes with a large cloth.
It’s an easygoing trick, but one everyone can enjoy together.
The rope is on the rod.

It’s a magic trick where a rope that should be soft and floppy suddenly becomes stiff like a rod in an instant! Amazingly, you can do this trick with a magic prop sold at 100-yen shops, so if you’re interested, try picking one up there! Even in the package, the rope moves softly and limply.
But if you gradually straighten it from the center, it becomes rigid! And when you apply force somewhere, it returns to its original floppy rope! It’s an easy, highly recommended trick—you can get the prop easily and perform it with no trouble!

In magic, hand movements and hidden mechanisms are crucial.
It’s also important to lead the audience to think, “This is X.” For example, make them believe in advance that something won’t move, or that there’s only one of something.
With that in mind, here’s a magic trick.
The two ropes—one red and one yellow—protruding from the tube are not tied together inside.
So, guide the audience to think that if you pull one rope, the other won’t move.
But what if, the second time you pull the red rope, the yellow rope moves? The unexpected result will surely surprise them.
Why not perform a magic routine packed with clever ruses like this?
