Masterpieces with Titles Starting with “Ru” (1–10)
Loop the Roomrushino

It’s a track that draws you into that strange feeling of almost breaking free but never quite escaping.
Created by Lushino for the anonymous submission event Colorless Transparent Festival 3, held in November 2025, the song takes inspiration from the urban legend “The Backrooms.” With electronic sounds, it conveys a maze-like sense of confinement and the cyclical sensation of endlessly looping through the same place.
A dark worldview unfolds, as if you’re sinking deeper into a dream.
RootsSHANK

Featured on their debut album “Loving our small days,” this track is a signature song from their indie era, also included on an advance compilation in August 2010.
Set to a driving two-beat and sung in English, its message interweaves anxiety about an unchanging everyday life with the will to push forward.
True to its title, it carries a sense of reexamining one’s “roots,” mirroring SHANK’s mindset at the time as they aimed to break out from Nagasaki to the national stage.
The explosive synergy of high-speed yet melodic guitar riffs and Shohei Ibara’s husky high tones is breathtaking.
It’s a must-hear for anyone craving the invigorating rush of melodic hardcore or looking to release their emotions all at once in a short burst.
LuminousKagami Hayato

A lead single from Hayato Kagami of NIJISANJI’s first mini-album “ULTIMATE CITY,” released in November 2025.
It’s a grand rock number fully produced by Soujirou Oki of Novelbright.
Through the image of a protagonist clutching a blank map and cutting through the darkness, it portrays the strength of will to keep moving forward—believing in a light of hope even amid uncertainty.
Just listening to the soaring, sing-along-ready chorus and the dazzling hybrid sound is enough to set your heart ablaze.

Loo% Who%Rin to shite Shigure

A one-of-a-kind three-piece rock band, Ling tosite sigure, released the EP “Lost God of SASORI” in October 2025.
This track was newly written as the ending theme for the TV anime Gnosia and is included on that EP.
The lyrics, depicting wavering trust and suspicion—and an impulse toward death—within a looping flow of time, align perfectly with the work’s labyrinthine world.
Meanwhile, the tense sound, woven from odd meters and fierce key changes, creates a unique afterglow that feels like an ending yet hints at a beginning.
With whiplash-inducing guitar riffs and technically dazzling drums, it’s an edgy rock piece that’s utterly overwhelming.
Lubanza FireSEAMO

This is dance music by Seamo that blends catchy pop and rap styles with a sampling-based approach inspired by anime theme songs.
Despite the artist’s strong comedic flair, it’s easy to listen to and offers a bright, uplifting vibe that fits perfectly for September.
Look at meBIGMAMA

On a morning platform, clenching a fist tight inside a packed train.
Starting from that everyday sense of urgency, this song vividly captures the frustration and loneliness of a protagonist not yet twenty.
The world moves on without you noticing, everything rushing past, and in the midst of it, a cry of anger at being left behind.
Originally released to the world in 2006 on the mini-album “short films,” the track was re-recorded and released in 2013 as the B-side of the single “alongside.” It was also included on the 2017 best-of album “BESTMAMA.” It’s a song that resonates with the youthful urgency many have felt—the yearning to assert yourself, and the exasperation when it doesn’t quite come out right.
