Great songs with titles starting with 'Ru' (11–20)
RootsSHANK

Featured on their debut album “Loving our small days,” this track is a signature song from their indie era, also included on an advance compilation in August 2010.
Set to a driving two-beat and sung in English, its message interweaves anxiety about an unchanging everyday life with the will to push forward.
True to its title, it carries a sense of reexamining one’s “roots,” mirroring SHANK’s mindset at the time as they aimed to break out from Nagasaki to the national stage.
The explosive synergy of high-speed yet melodic guitar riffs and Shohei Ibara’s husky high tones is breathtaking.
It’s a must-hear for anyone craving the invigorating rush of melodic hardcore or looking to release their emotions all at once in a short burst.
LuminousKagami Hayato

A lead single from Hayato Kagami of NIJISANJI’s first mini-album “ULTIMATE CITY,” released in November 2025.
It’s a grand rock number fully produced by Soujirou Oki of Novelbright.
Through the image of a protagonist clutching a blank map and cutting through the darkness, it portrays the strength of will to keep moving forward—believing in a light of hope even amid uncertainty.
Just listening to the soaring, sing-along-ready chorus and the dazzling hybrid sound is enough to set your heart ablaze.
Luluyakushimaru etsuko

The ending theme of “Ground Control to Psychoelectric Girl.” It’s a relaxed love song about that special someone who always stays close by your side when times are tough or painful.
In the chorus, the sound suddenly shifts from the previous mood to something catchy and playful, like overturning a toy box—cute and distinctive.
Rumortrhaneru sakana

“Rumurtoru” is another highly addictive track.
This one was created by Vocaloid producer Haneru Sakana.
The first half features a high-tempo drum and bass sound, while the latter half shifts into a Latin-tinged, mysterious vibe.
That dramatic change in atmosphere brings an indescribably pleasing sensation.
The clever rhymes and wordplay are also standout points.
The lyrics are intricate, but by the time you finish listening, they’re strangely seared into your mind.
Loo% Who%Rin to shite Shigure

A one-of-a-kind three-piece rock band, Ling tosite sigure, released the EP “Lost God of SASORI” in October 2025.
This track was newly written as the ending theme for the TV anime Gnosia and is included on that EP.
The lyrics, depicting wavering trust and suspicion—and an impulse toward death—within a looping flow of time, align perfectly with the work’s labyrinthine world.
Meanwhile, the tense sound, woven from odd meters and fierce key changes, creates a unique afterglow that feels like an ending yet hints at a beginning.
With whiplash-inducing guitar riffs and technically dazzling drums, it’s an edgy rock piece that’s utterly overwhelming.
ROUGE OF GRAYBOØWY

It was included on their fourth album, JUST A HERO, and was apparently also a candidate for the album’s title.
The electronic drum sound in the intro is striking, and the song has a sideways-groove, disco-tinged dance number feel.
Masterpieces with titles starting with 'Ru' (21–30)
Luka Luka★Night Feversamfree

Released in 2009, this is an immortal Eurobeat number.
It’s one of samfree’s signature works and sparked a massive movement centered on Niconico Douga.
The quintessential “Eurobeat” sound arrangement is irresistibly appealing, and Megurine Luka’s mature vocals match the cool melodic lines perfectly.
Highly recommended when gathering with long-time Vocaloid fans.
Let’s turn the karaoke room into a dance floor!
